For Snipers maps, the spacebar automatically sets your view to your respawn. However, halfway through the game the players switch sides, and they need to use F2-F4 if they want the same effect, which is more difficult and a lot of players don't know about it.
I've tried moving the Start Location, or removing it and re-creating it, to no avail. Other thoughts are that if I can get a "your forces are under attack," that will set the Spacebar to the correct area.
I'm not sure of the best way to go about doing this. There is a 5-10 second delay period where I have time to do pretty much whatever without interference, though.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.
maybe create the ghost somewhere else and move it to the spawn?
just a random idea, I don't know what exactly triggers that event in sc.
and change the start locations to the same area because holding F2 would center the screen over their one.
Not possible, you could just center their view there if you want..

Why dont you create an air unit (ground could interfere with other units) for the player and an invincible enemy scourge next to it whenever you want to modify the "last transmission" location?
Yeah, but that will only work for the period in which the portrait is popped up for the message, not to mention it looks nasty
None.
If you send a transmission [the trigger action], the space bar focus location changes to the sending unit.
None.
Really? Is that permanent, or just during the transmission, like I said, because I know that hitting the spacebar will automatically move you to whatever unit is showing in the portrait, which is why a transmission would make that happen.
None.
It's permanent. At least, I think it is. I seem to once remember getting a transmission from somewhere wierd in some map,bumping the spacebar 10 minutes latet, and getting confused.
None.
Well... spacebar actuallys always when:
-> you've been attacked
-> unit-build/warp/morph are finished
-> When you triggerd "center view" on somewhere else... (pretty sure)
so just use center view to change (how I said; i'm not sure if that will work)
EDIT: I'm not sure, but doesn't "Erase current combat-data" also erase the spacebar-function?
Please report errors in the Staredit.Network forum.
If sending a transmission does set the space bar, that will be all I need.
Thanks.

I have my trigger set like this just for a test..
Always
Send Transmission from Sniper at location "Anywhere"
Send Wav. ( Ghost lockdown )
Add 1000 milisecond to transmission duration
Text "Test"
And nothing happens, wont display text or anything, its in the correct players triggers... so why is this happening? Thanks.

Hmmm, would it be possible to add conditions to hyper triggers to disable them if say a certain switch is set? I don't understand the logic behind hyper triggers, even after reading through the wiki multiple times.
If that's not possible, my only other thought is to run multiple groups of hyper triggers. The first group should end right before this trigger needs to run, and the second group should begin immediately after. [22][22][22] ~~ 894 seconds. (The trigger will occur after about 900 seconds).

No, there are no wait blocks.
I have no waits in my triggers at all.
I have fixed this, thanks.
*** EDIT ***
I have discovered with Hypertriggers the transmission fails to send... explain!?

-> transmissions contain a wait. -> waitblocks
use transmissions of 0 instead...
and make sure that the hypertriggers are at the end of the triggerlist
Even with being "Subtract 0" in the duration and moving the 4 hypers to the bottom of "All Players" no transmission was sent.

works for me with set to 0
I never use add and subtract...
Still didn't for me with Set to 0.
Can you do me a favor and look at the map? If so, I'll be PM'ing you it.
Thanks.
