December, this is the month where we are allowed to proove the entire world that there's vanity in all of us with no exception, thus, allowing us to ask for gifts and give away too! That "sharing time" line is crap.

So the holidays are coming, what are you people planning on getting?
This topic could give ideas on what to get from other people's wishes too!
So what is it people?

As for me (in order of preference):
1. Professional Camera (Canon EOS 300d most likely) - Let's face it. My parent's will never buy a real actual camera like ever and I don't want it to come from my money so I'll just ask for this.
2. DDR - Ever since Phobos reminded me that it existed I've been meaning to ask back for the one I borrowed to a friend. But since I am a good person I just didn't ask back for it so I might just get a new one.
3. Piano/keyboard or Sax - Even though I'd like to have a new instrument to have fun with I realise that I don't have the time I had when I got my first guitar and I will either not play much or never actually play. I know a couple of piano stuff but Sax is just sexier.
4. Moar RAM a 2GB one - This is the kind of thing that I consider that my parents should just give them to me cause I want it to improve my computer for the sake of running my architectural programs faster. Which means homework. This will most likely come out from my money though, I checked on prices and realised that they weren't as expensive as I thought they were in my country after all.
5. New cellphone - The one I have right now... well, I have to make three calls just before the other person listens to me. People describe it as "I couldn't here anything but a weird noise" But then again this is the kind of stuff that your parents should get you without you asking for them as a holiday gift.
6. A book - Yeah. Don't bitch me about me wanting books.

1. Money, because I am building myself a new PC. Though I'm working to pay for most of it.

2. New Zune, my 30GB is amazing and all, but the newer ones are sexier, and the rechargeable battery on mine is starting to lose capacity.
3. Various video games that I haven't been able so successfully pirate. Ones on this list include the C&C First Decade pack, Left4Dead, DeadSpace, and some others I can't remember at the moment.
4. Someone to sell my current computer too. Just deliver them to my door with cash.

Money sounds about right. But the thing about it is that you never get as much as you expected unless you ask for an specific quantity.
Then it'd just be like.. bleh, boring.

Yeah, I'm probably going to have to pay $3600 of the $4100.63

30" Widesceen? Do you really need that...

I don't want anything in particular this year, but I'm most likely to get money from my folks as a present...oh one of my friends says she wants to buy her boyfriend a certain sports blouse for Christmas so I'm probably going to do her a favour and buy the blouse here.

A new hard drive, a stronger battery for my laptop, a Gambeson jacket, Fallout 3, Mirror's Edge... maybe some other things, but right now I can't think of anything else I want for christmas.

wow most of you sure expecting pretty expensive stuff, i just a wacom tablet =/, not a cintiq not a intuos3, just a bamboo i dont need much to be happy; also i wanna play super smash bros with my sister XD she is taking forever on that...

No, I'm expecting 300-600$ cash total, and having to pay for the rest myself.

I already went Christmas shopping yesterday... for myself.
-I picked up a Linksys Wireless-G Router at Bestbuy.
-A bunch of used CDs from Disc Replay. (The Soup Dragons, The Chemical Brothers, Rush. Yeah, I have very open taste!)
-I also picked up some Sonic the Hedgehog comic books.. I have not picked up a comic since I was in 5th grade, but I could not keep myself away once I found a local comic book shop.


-I need to place an order for Red vs Blue Reconstruction for my nephew. He loves that series.
-I am probably going to get the 30USD Mega Pedal for by best friend that loves playing the Rock Band drums.

Yeah, that about covers all my gifts.

But I still don't know why you'd need a 30" Widescreen. May as well buy a tv and hook it up to that.

I don't watch TV, so it would be pointless. I 'acquire' all of my TV shows and my favorite show, The Shield, just had its last episode.

This is what I 'plan on getting': (in no particular order)

1. 12-string acoustic guitar. About a $200 value.
2. Some new guitar strings
3. Another Capo
4. Some DVDs... like Gone Baby Gone, The Dark Knight, Cloverfield, Juno... maybe
5. Some CDs... specifically from the bands Bright Eyes, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Dodos, and Cold War Kids
6. This won't sound like a gift. But I want to clean out my room. There's all kinds of crap lying around that I don't need. Stuff that could be given to the salvation army, etc. But this definitely isn't happening unless my mom helps me on some day during christmas vk.
7. (this won't sound like a gift) I want to sell all my old systems and games that I don't use anymore. Like my PS2 and the 25 games I have for it. And my gamecube and the 5-7 games I have for it. Maybe my Xbox too and the approximately 15 games I have for that. I'll probably do this with my dad some day during christmas vk. Should get me at least 150-200 bucks.
8. Some clothes
