lol... that works with EACH worker... if they get an order to mine they will walk over each unit (not building!)

between: I know a cool bug... surround a Drone with other Drones (or other units) so he can't escape his "cell"
then order him to build a building near it 2 times very fast!
the drone inside of the cell will disappear and the building has started to morph :D

Exploits

- Fixed an exploit which allowed Zerg players to gain minerals through mutations.
- Fixed an exploit which allowed Zerg players to recycle an upgrading building.
- Fixed an exploit which allowed Zerg players to extend their creep with a drone.
- Fixed an exploit which allowed Zerg players to move Drones over impassable terrain.
- Fixed an exploit which allowed Terran players to drop a nuke anywhere on the map.
- Fixed an exploit which allowed players to pause the game while in the pre-game lobby.

Bugs Introduced
- It thinks you're sending a reply when you put any character followed by r and a space... for example: "or that" would be processed as a reply saying "that".

I did not knew any of these exploits FTW can someone explain how they worked?
Most of them remind me of features in hacks.

TinyMap2 - Latest in map compression! [ 8/26/12 - New build! Potentially fixed Win7 crash ]
EUD Action Enabler - Lightweight EUD/EPD support! (ChaosLauncher/MPQDraft support!)
EUDDB - topic - Help out by adding your EUDs! Or Submit reference files in the References tab!
MapSketch - New image->map generator!
EUDTrig - topic - Quickly and easily convert offsets to EUDs! (extended players supported)
SC2 Map Texture Mask Importer/Exporter - Edit texture placement in an image editor!

If you go into patch.txt and do a find for "hack", you'll discover that the word is only used once. (patch 1.15.0 - "- Fixed a multicommand hack that crashed Macintosh players.")
It would seem that Blizzard doesn't like to talk about hacks and prefers other wording.

Any community that gets its laughs by pretending to be idiots will eventually be flooded by actual idiots who mistakenly believe they're in good company.

Well, apparently that bug only works in the channel, not in the pre-game lobby, edited!

They took the "/r" feature from oblivion.

Quote from Roy
... The /r wouldn't be the first time Blizzard did this. Blizzard has taken pinging, colored names, replay-with-text, right-click rallies, and removing passwords of private games (make game public) from hacks.

This patch has made be realize how many times I start a message with "or."

Blizzard has downgraded StarCraft to a lowly WarCraft: 2 status. Tragic in its own way.

The only problem I have with it is the Battle.net dialogs take forever to load.
Additionally, what about some of the other exploits? (interceptor/scarab crash[train instead of build subunit])
And what about a new one I think has been introduced? (Read overflow in new chat system, and possible player ID spoofing)

Anyway, modders have nothing to worry about. The offset changes in data were mostly -8. If you were working with functions, you need to write a function finder(so it will work with all patches). See http://code.google.com/p/bwapi/wiki/changes116 for some data changes.

See http://code.google.com/p/vgce/wiki/starcraftCommands#0x5C_-_Game_Chat for info on the new game chat command opcode.

Expect a new patch within a week or so, maybe even earlier. The Korean SC Professional Leagues have chosen not to update with the patch due to lag and other issues caused in games, likely due to the CPU Savior being introduced (poorly).

Melee players are getting significant headaches from the patch, from what I hear.

This is actually kind of funny:

My Windows wallpaper cycler has a feature that prevents cycling if your CPU usage is too high. Now that they fixed CPU usage, it cycles while I am playing SC and it messes up the colors.

Looks like I'll have to find a workaround.

Whatever.... Blizzard should make an Editor patch, which adds many features to the editor
(detect movement, multi center location etc.)

Set kills (easy kills to cash systems) would be my favourite. :)

I beleive these are coded inside the engine, and to add those features, you'd have to decompile StarCraft itself.
