You can only share vision to P1-8.
So you either need to hallucinate them (and replace before the hallucination time is over) or place detectors. I got another idea however: Try creating it for a player you have vision to, then defeat the player. This should give the unit to P12 and maybe it also preserves the vision. Ok, then if that doesn't work, how do you get the computer to ally you? I'm trying to put a defense system in a town. But if you walk past it, it will attack you.
