Unprotected, for several reasons.
First off, as you mentioned, the existence of Condoms may encourage sex(especially with teenagers), and put the idea out there. When you walk into a gas station, you'll see condoms on the shelf or somewhere in sight for many teens and other young people, and the cashier likely doesn't care about age. Condoms encourage "safe sex," which may encourage teenagers and others that it is smart to have sex at a very younger age. Also, condoms aren't 100% safe and may leak or pop due to an accident or the partners being neophytes, possibly leading to unwanted pregnancy. To avoid accidental conception, it is probably safest to time sex with the girls menstrual cycle, to avoid fertilising an egg. This severely reduces the chance of pregnancy, and combined with birth control, are almost guaranteed to prevent accidental conception. On the issue of comfort and availability, a condom may become a liability wile having sex. It reduces accessibility and timing to certain regions of the body, and may cause a dearth of pleasure for either partner. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Wow at first I thought this was about Starcraft.
I think the way you made the poll is stupid and the way you worded the issue is stupid. Prohibiting the use of condoms won't stop people from having sex. They'll just do it unprotected. Also in response to Horde's points. I doubt people would schedule having sex to avoid pregnancy. And regardless, there's the whole issue of STIs. And also Protection doesn't just mean condoms because A of st mentioned birth control. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

No, I'm saying it's ridiculous to not allow the use of them and that no condoms equals sex anyway.
On the other hand, condoms just continue the spiral of teenage sexual exploration and give teenagers the idea that sex is okay. It can lead to pregnancy by ignorance and puts a burden on society. Not all sexually transmitted diseases are prevented with condoms and that's why they still exists. The existence or nonexistence of condoms won't make STDs disappear. These condoms help nothing other than get adolescents into a lifestyle of sex wthout worry. The poll options are better now, but the issue we're discussing is still confusing as seen in several responses. Yup, we're talking about sex and if people should be allowed/able to use condoms, birth control, or any other pregnancy prevention. There are the two radically different sides of this topic: using condoms should be allowed because people have the freedom to choose what they want, or using condoms should NOT be allowed because it just influences sex amoung adolescents. Protection is a good thing though. Many teenagers have problems with having childs really early which leads them away from education. Some of them even forgets to take pills. It also protects against STDS so I'm for whatever people choose.
I just believe in this. If God meant for someone to be born, they are born. If not, they are either aborted or they die inside the mother. This is what most Christians are forgetting, especially those republicans against abortion. God gave us freedom of choice and will. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

If you're having sex with someone you're unsure of, if they're sleeping around, if they've slept around or if they're not on any kind of pill or anti-pregnancy (unless you both want pregnancy) then use a condom, the feeling you lose is slight, but if you dont want to muck up your life, and you're unsure about the person, then use a condom.
However if you're in a health relationship, you've been together for a while, you're okay with the idea of pregnancy or you've taken proper precuations into not getting pregnant, you know they're clean then why bother using a condom? It increases the feeling and makes it a little more personal. I think that adventure isn't so bad when hormones are kicking in, but with condoms it makes it a safe voyage, so go ahead. I've had sex with one girl, I loved her, we used condoms but then decided she'd do birth control, we decided to stop using condoms, but then when she had her wisdom teeth out, birth control stops working for that month, so we re-used condoms. We played it safe, but we didn't need to, we already came to an agreement that if she were pregnant, we're not gonna jeopardize either of our lives, she'd get an abortion. Which is something you and your partner should also consider, are you okay with abortions, day after pills, condoms, birth control, and just get to know each others boundaries, dont be greedy, be safe. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'm 100% pro-abortion/protection and am faintly with disgusted with those who are not. No one's forcing you to do it, it ruins lives, and it really has absolutely nothing bad to offer you.

Yes, but sex should only be done between married couples, protection is when they want to enjoy each other, but not have a kid, it's not for teens and unmarried people to have sex with no consequences. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Many women suffer from severe bloating/pain during their period, and the best way to fix that is birth control. When I say severe, I mean severe.
As for all this crazy "unprotected sex" everyone is having, it's for a reason. Marijuana is illegal, yet plenty of people still take it, because it makes them feel good. I'd imaging plenty of people would still have sex even if safe sex were made illegal. Some people are just idiots, and you won't find many on SEN. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a great wallpaper to use if you want to go into an epileptic fit every time you sit down in front of your laptop, which I guess is a better option than watching Naruto.
