Hi.

So I'm planning on using a vHP in a map I'm making.
Let's say that I have a location following a unit, and the vHP's are brought to that location only when the unit being followed is not inside the location. Would this have the same effect as if constantly moving the vHP's to the location, whether or not the player brings the unit to that location?

No it wouldn't

Constant centering will slow your unit (assuming it's ground).
If you do the other way, make your location 1 pixel x 1 pixel.

Thanks. I guess I could've just tested this, but I'm lazy. Also, I thought it slows air units as well? Or am I delusional?

Delusional. It doesn't slow air units.

Other way round: You can slow down ground units by moving/creating air units above them.
Maybe that's what you meant.

You don't have to use air units; you can slow down ground units with ground units.

Burrowed units work, so do many locations constantly centering. That's kind of a waste though.
