Are P9-12 unaffected by "All Players" triggers?

If not, is there any way to make a bring trigger affect all non-neutral players?

👻 👾 👽 💪

I believe they are counted in conditions and things like Kill.
This really wouldn't be something hard to test yourself. :P

They're completely affected, and you can just select all the non-neutral players and then use Current Player :P

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

p9-12 can't run triggers. They are affected by triggers, but they will never actually run a trigger.

You could have a trigger that said:
p9 brings 1 unit to x
then move 1 unit to y
as long as it's owned by p1-8

I don't think you can create units for these players.

All players is just a shortcut for player 1-8 anyway, it works exactly the same in the map as if you had 8 triggers for each player. There may be a difference if you don't use preserve trigger, but I don't know. There's very few times I don't want to preserve a trigger.

Hmm I should have made my question clearer.

Will bring conditions affect 9-12?

Example:

C: All Players bring at least 1 unit to "Movable Location"

A: Blow Everything Up Forever

Yes and I know this wouldn't be too hard to test, but it is easier to just post and I know that it isn't too much trouble on your behalf considering you were on anyways!! :P

Wow I just got Sarnath'd really badly.

Quoting Rockz-

Does this answer my question so that P9-12 will not be affected by all players-bring conditions?

Yeah, it would detect 9-12.

Darn it ! Unfortunately I can't use the current player trick cuz there is already a current player in there, so if I did that, then every player would get blown up...

Thanks a lot anyways! You just saved me 5 minutes of testing whoo hoo! :

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

Current Player brings at least 2 unit to "movable location"

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

You would have to split up the triggers somehow. Sc isn't complex enough that you can do everything in 1 trigger.
For example make 4 triggers, each of them checking for one force (or less triggers if you use less forces). Set a switch or a dc when a force detects the unit you're looking for and then another trigger (owned by all players) that has this switch in the condition to execute your actions (for current player).

Alternatively you could make a trigger that is owned by all players and sets a dc for the respective unit if it is found for current player. As P9-12 cannot run triggers they will never set the dc for themselves. Then based on the dc you can execute your actions in a seperate trigger.
I think this last solution is more elegant though possibly need more death counts, depending on what exectly you need to detect.

If there's already a bunch of units for the unused players in that location, you can just detect when one more unit than is already there comes.
