--A). Version/History Information--
This total modification is for Starcraft: Brood War.
Updated versions may allow for Starcraft Vanilla.
This modification includes a series of special maps
which are necissary for the mod to run properly.
All three races are completely changed -- each with
their own specialities, which are as follows:
Zerg; Kharoshilisa; Powerful Hero Units
Terran; Confederate; Ludicrous Speed/High Damage Projectiles
Protoss; Magistrate; Special Spells and Units
Version 0.0.1 -- Released Alpha for feedback
Version 0.9.1 -- Public Beta Release
Includes all races
Incomplete AI

--B). How to USe--
The mod is simple to use. Downgrade to version 1.15.1 and
run Temptation.exe. Put the special maps in the Starcraft
maps folder (which is usually C:/Program Files/Starcraft/maps/)
and let the games begin!
--C). Additional Information--
The A.I. and additional playable maps will be released in later
versions. This version is for balance testing and feedback only.
Later versions will support playing on SC: Vanilla and may
contain a campaign (highly unlikely).
--D). Credits--
All building .grp's were created by me. All the rest are from
miscellanous users on staredit.net and maplantis.org. I failed
to maintain a list of all .grps I used, so sorry -- if you
know what .grp you made, and want your name in the credits
please contact me.
Music: the name of the band/artists whose music I used include:
Dead Can Dance, Epica, Globus, Immediate Music, and X-Ray Dog.
Plugins include a modified version of Poiuy_qwert's LocUnlock,
Farty's TrigPlug, and ShadowFlares misc. plugins
--E). Special Thanks--
Special thanks to IskatuMesk, Lord Agamemnon, Poiuy_qwert,
DoA, bajadulce, Farty, and Heinermann.
IskatuMesk -- for showing that anything is possible
when you put your mind to it.
Lord_Agamemnon -- for demonstrating how clean and presentable
mods can really be.
Poiuy_qwert -- for answering all my silly C++ questions,
helping me with plugins, and for pyMS.
DoA -- for making Firegraft and answering all my questions
concerning hardcoded material.
Bajadulce -- for creating BWAI.com and answering my onslaught
of A.I. questions.
Farty -- Your crazy programs such as TrigPlug and BinEdit2.
Heinermann -- for mapping out the majority of SC and BWAPI.
And thank you to everyone else, this was a fun experience
and I am happy I took my time with mod. Over time, I really
began to understand how SC works and functions. I learned how
to code in C++, ASM, and Javascript. I learned how to derefrence
and to create my own triggers. I learned why there is a sprite
limit and I learned how to code A.I. It's been quite a fun time
and I'm sad to see it go, but there is always tomorrow, always
another day. I believe I'm done with conventional modding and I
hope a new generation will pick up where so many have left off.
Good bye everyone and have fun with this mod and any mods you create.
The End.
Critiques:
Pros:
I feel confident that I can consider this a Total Conversion.
Sets up a new way of playing where all fighting is over a central resource.
A wide array of ships for all races.
Cons:
Slightly unfinished and unpolished. It could use a bit of balancing.
I feel a bit empty now that I’m releasing the mod because it’s nothing like I wanted it to be. It’s a great mod, but it’s not up there in the Legacy area -- at least, that’s what I think after playing the same mod for about a year.
End.
