Ok, i think the present is right time to inform the new what's going on in Three

kingdoms mod
As many of you know, it stated project a great while ago and there were many ups and

downs during working for this mod
but the present my number one goal is to get back full time to release this as soon

as possible and i concentrate on this TK project
and it could needs to join modder of team to give your hand

Currently, the resources of the Graphcs and animations those are progressed as looking take shape up
that seems kinda the World of Chinese Three kimdoms :)

Acutally, most sprites of the unit/building and animations were done Since i took a

respite from Tk mod work before i've been around of playing other games and modding other games ,
i tired of working TK mod and i needed to look after my energy ;-)

StarCraft Total Conversion - The Three Kingdoms ]: Legendary Heroes
What is the TK-MOD ?
Three kindom mod based on Romance Chinese Three kingdoms
this mod will drive yours into fantasy world that StarCraft replaced to Chinese of an ancient age
[ graphic resources]

Some graphic contents are maded by using other games resources
Basicly many of models edited from WarCraft3 models to Chinese unit models which

units of an ancient age and many of paint and illustration used from Game title which called koei's Romance of Three kingdoms
i contented with current of graphic quality nearly However those would be recreated by my hand from scratch
Current Progressed possesion is Graphics - 90% / Game Data ( dat file and table of text ) - 20% / Animation Script - 40 %
Memory patch (Buttons and tech tree) - 10 % / Sound - anything not yet / Etc - not yet

ok, i have to make an announcement of a help-wanted
As many of you know, it stated project a great while ago and there were many ups and downs during working for this mod
Baiscly most units/buildings graphics completed that compiled to GRP also
i think i could make all mod resources by myself since i have exprienced as much as i can do
however, i need and hope that i could concentrate on only graphical resources before everything else
beuczz the present is my number one goal is to get release this as soon as possible and as wellmade
for this reason, i'm looking for some modders would join in TK-team for giving your hand
there is no restrictions on each fields of modding
if you think you can do anything and you have capability to modding as well
you can get a credit and can be staff of The Three kingdoms
these fields i need the hand

1. Animation Scripter ( no limite on total numbers )
- you write scripts to animate GRP and realize each effects in the game with frames and DAT files
2. Campaign Creator ( no limite on total numbers )
- you make Campaign map or UMS based on Threekingdoms Stroy-line
3. Melee game mapper ( no limite on total numbers )
- you make TK map for multy play
4. memory patcher ( 2~3 members )
- you edit buttons set and tech tree and skill-tree and kinda EXE edting
(if 3 members join, you can take just one race )
5. User interface editor ( no limite on total numbers )
- you edit SC-UI as look as Chinese style, such as game lobby and main interface of game and etc
( you dont need to scrap and digging images related chinese culture and make image files to fit UI
i alreday got those source images as enough i could make PCX files and etc to use UI you just set layout )

6. Sound desinger
- you make the sounds for unit and effects and many other sounds
(i already got bunch of sound sources realted in chinese and Threekindoms units and many other things
so you dont have to searching and digging and grap any sound sources
you just edit volume/sync and rename file )
7. AI editor
- you tune up the SC AI to fit Three kingdoms play
8. and all the like programing
- if mod needs to some stuffs such as Advanced installer/patcher/ many other utility for TK mod you delevelop by programing

9. tileset editor
- you tune up SC tileset as chinese tileset
if you want images sources for terrain and town as fit chinese style as like tileset format of video game
i can give you bunch of sources i alreday got good resources as much to work simply

i just didnt update medias , All races becames as Human civilization already
it just needs compiling / scripting and balancing
therefore, it needs teammates to you see Three kingdoms world as soon as you want

i just fininsed a new unit an animations that recreat for Kingdom-Chork's Archer (Protoss Dra)
its called Iron Archer his weapon is all-steel Arrow
rendered animations

construct plots

i just fininsed other new unit that called wooden Tiger recreated for Cannon (Toss-Reaver)
there wasn't kinda Cannons at the age of Chinese Three kingdoms so it changed as wooden it attacks with fling a stone



Recreating the buildings for each kingdoms what I'm doing now.


i just met by chance fogotten a human type-zealot model that i had modelling about 2 years ago :teehee:
i should make it to custom GRP when i have time

green[0.255.0] color is one of best colour to make a clear discriminate between object and transparent background colour
if background has black, it could has dirty dots around of the object when convert pixels in photoshop and other 2d editors
that way is the custom to do in the Game industry

Mod does look like good stuff, though (even if you stole a couple buildings from Age of Empires 2 :P), and I'll definitely try it out once you finish with it. ^^

The feature of construction system

i got a plan that construction system as unique
first of all, my the aim of game is gamepaying looks more flash and unique by different system than existing system of SC
many of koreans who is fan of TK mod, they asked the walls
for such reason, what i planning the constructing sytem is Building wall
but i think it should be applies for balance as well as possible in game playing

Many of SC players are uses terran's buildings as guard building i got inspiration from there
and build systems of Age of Empires and Medival-Total war games

so players can build the walls to protect the town make endurance as strong
Acutlay it's spends a great times to break the wall

but if your tech has delveoped to high and as time goes on then it could break the wall without difficulty
by use advanced units



so that mean, when game has begins you could build walls to protect your hometown
but if map just like existing SC maps it so easy deffence

for this reason, TK map should be full-opened or kinda opened gate from around instead of this advantage

It puts another complexion on the incident in the opening part of game
but it needs to balanced without borring in the begining part, then you can have a chances to try a multiplicity of strategy much more than SC

and here is one more unique system with above its kinda complete of randomical starting point
Acutaly its similar as Age of Empires

Basicly, SC and many other mods dirves you start with Command building ( such as CC, hatchery, Nexus )
but this is different a bit ,
first of all, when you start a game you will take a starting point but there is no Command buildings , such other buildings too
just start without buildings ( as many of moder know, it's possible with used sort of trick in the FG )
you will get just a few peons and one hero or just peons ( its would be chages From time to time as the need )
anyway you have to find out a good locaton your self and drive your stakes to settle your root down



then you Actualy the current of existing starting locations that ppl searching the opponent's location becomes diversify
so it gives you chances playing much more strategically than before and its puts much complexion on the incident in a game

Offcause, These systems needs test for the balance through Alpha and Beta test and if needs cover up defects should it change or keep systems

i have a News about TK team
Raising TK members of Team, meanwhile, we've organized Staffs to some extent for project TK
i think this project could progressing nicely. Everything could going like clockwork after so long a time
anyways so i think its the right time to let you guys know who are TK making team
there are 5 standing Staffs and 1 temporary Staff so far, included me

1. Animation Scripter : FlyingHat
2. UI designer : Corbo[MM]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] ( temporary Staff )
( he just spokes hisīs mind to help a little bit however he didnt sends yet additional msg for my asking
so i tell him as temporary Staff )
3. memory patcher : Corbo[MM]
4. Scenario Director / Campagn designer : Hwaso bekdo ( TK korea commnity member )
5. Melee Mapper : Deevea ( TK korea commnity member )
6. and me ( Director, graphics, animations, many other stuffs )

these guys are TK Staffs, so if some one have quesions something you could asking to them
and they will be answer to here when they can tell about your asking isn't it ?

and i built a TK offical forum site called Three kingdoms Forge

but its used for TK staffs mainly so far, however you guys can go there
to see news and contents of TK ( but Currently, there is no Contents for public :P )

Anyways anyones can join in our Team even though there are a member for each part of modding
Always there is no restrictions on each fields of modding

if you think you can do anything and you have capability to modding as well
you can get a credit and can be staff of The Three kingdoms
