CIVILIZATION FOR SC

Hello SEN modding community! If you have been to Maplantis recently, then you already know of this project; but, for those that do not:

I am making a Total Conversion Modification for SC that is based off of Civilization. I already have the tech tree done and I have started grafting it, but, I am going to still need help. If you are interested in graphic design, animation, 3D graphic design, or Story writing, please either post here or contact me about the project. I will post specifications later on about the mod after I get a few things sorted out with the gameplay.

If you are an expert, or new to modding, sign up. Expirience does not matter.

Are you kidding me? No one wants to help with the biggest modification for SC ever?

Most modders are solitary workers by nature. Especially since coordinating group mods is very difficult.

i would but i don't do any of those things.....only dat editing soooo unless someone took da time to teach.....

Taking aside the idea of modders can't work in a team.

This will not be the greatest modification ever.
The best ever is obviously ORTC

I dont know... if you were lord_aga or Voy, you'd know what I'm going to do with this mod.

you're not gonna use the graphics from Civ 3?

I dont have Civ 3, and I WILL be using some graphics from CIV 3, but I still need to create wire frames and such.

i can do story writing... what do you mean by "story writing" anyways? do you want multiple campaigns made? do you want them starcraft related, or related to the history of the world? 8O O8 the history, through brood war, to the future of starcraft?!?!?!? that would be fun to write.

It would be a totally new campaign based on three civilizations and their rise to power through technology. The rest is up to you.

are they starcraft civilizations, earth civilizations, or whole new civilizations, brought up from the depths of imagination and creativity that courses through the very veins of the starcraft community? (idk where that came from)

They are earth civilizations, that progress from basic farmers to advanced civilizations. It is based on how humans developed societies and such.

hmmm... do they have to be like, greeks... romans... byzantines... or can they be made-up human-like civilizations?

Its really entirely up to you. Although buildings will have their own distinct look, they will have hints of Roman, Greek, Byzantine, Briton, and French Archeticture. I would prefer totally new civilizations so the players will become more immersed into the mod.

can do... i can already see it now... in the industrial ages, the first wars will be known as the Ancient Wars...

The player actually starts MUCH before the Industrial Age.

yes i know... the players will first PLAY the ancient wars, then as time progresses, the past will be forgetten by the population (as by the player-im thinking of a LONG campaign), and the industrial age will mention "the Ancient Wars," and the player will be like 'omfg i remember when that happened!'
