I hope someone can show me a totally awesome map that makes me want to mapmake again. Cuz I'm really never in the mood to mapmake anymore. I finally got time now, and I can't get a single piece of terrain done here. I really want to see a great inspiring rpg map...

I stopped playing Starcraft months ago. I only come to SEN for the community. I don't even look at the mapping/modding forums anymore.

Syphon PROMISED us he'll come back if StarCraft II is released. EVERYBDOY ALWAYS COME BACK! You don't 'have to quit' StarCraft if you are not in the mood for mapmaking. Like what is seen everyday in a daily StarCraft game, I doubt that they have made any worth as what we put into. They don't make maps and they didn't quit StarCraft, did they? The same goes to North Korea, not many are any good at map making as we are. They focus a lot more on micromanagement in melee games. Did the entire nation quit StarCraft? No. To be honest, StarCraft isn't just 'map making'. And like what FaRTy suggested, why not give modding a chance?

You don't 'have to quit' StarCraft if you are not in the mood for mapmaking. Like what is seen everyday in a daily StarCraft game, I doubt that they have made any worth as what we put into. My past 3 new Years resolutions have been to quit SC. I make a commitment to permanently quit SC like every other month. Then, I hear it brought up somewhere, by someone, so next time I fire up my comp I decided to just play 1 game. The next thing I know it's 3 in the mourning and I'm pouring over the pub list for a good UMS game. Either that or some genius new strat will just hit me while I'm doing homework, "OMG, if I just rush vults, I fucking win!" Then I go on just to test my rape out, only to once again find myself pouring over pub UMS games looking for that quick fix before I can sleep.
