I've had a few discussions over B.Net, with some of the more intelligent people, atleast grammatically, who discuss some things the government may or may not be keeping secret. When they do believe in them, they seem firmly opposed that the government could possibly be up to anything good. Is the government a bunch of unbelievable evil geniouses? Do you actually think anyone is capable of this? For those who don't, why not? Which government are we talking about? It is certainly possibly corrupt dictators have conspiracies but unlikely a democracy has a conspiracy. Are we only talking about democracies or are we talking about all forms of government? Are we talking about all governments or a specific one?

I believe in one conspiracy. Echo is actually Korean. Other than that, just about every major conspiracy out there is utterly retarded. What's even more amazing are the "arguments" and "facts" they bring up while backing their "truths."

Watergate was a conspiracy in a democratic nation. I'm sure there are some conspiracies, things like the KKK or maybe religious cults obsessed with the Holy Grail or whatnot. However, you need to take certain things into perspective. For example, U.S. declaring war on Iraq is not a conspiracy to bring about the apocalypse... *shrug* If there were no such thing as a conspiracy, the word probably wouldn't exist. But honestly, how many people do you know that are seriously considering world domination or something silly like that?

I think conspiracies are created when someone has too much time in their hands, in which the outcome is always total bullshit, therefore a waste of time of their own and others.

Though you gotta admit, a lot of conspiracy theories while rather crazy oftentimes, do reveal a lot of things that don't add up. Whether they indicate a true conspiracy or just a strange coincidence, who knows.

Several years later, conspiracists used this fact to bring up "questionable" issues dealing with the pentagon. The most common questions we hear are "Did a plane really hit the pentagon?" "Where did all the bits and pieces of the plane wreckage go?" The questions posed all came with pictures showing the wreckage of the pentagon. Sure it is hard to come up with answers to the questions using the pictures provided but the thing most people don't realize is that [u]the pictures shown were taken SEVERAL DAYS after 9/11[/u]. I looked online and decided to search for pictures showing people the reconstruction of the pentagon occuring several days or weeks later. And guess what, [u]they are exactly the same pictures[/u]. When an airplane (or in this case we'll just say [i]anything[/i]) crashes into a building, there's going to be smoke and fire everywhere. I'm sure nobody except the firefighters are allowed onto the site. Meaning we can't possibly get any "good" pictures of the pentagon immediately after the pentagon got hit. And it remained this way, because when something hits a building, you aren't just going to leave the pieces and rubble of the object there laying around to have their picture taken days later right? Most basic human instinct is for people to clean it up right away. Same with the building. Oh shit there's a hole in our pentagon. The hole doesn't look very good, I think we should patch it up right away. Nobody, especially the media, was allowed around the site to take pictures and such especially when removing/reconstructing the area. So based on the pictures, did a plane really crash into our pentagon? This question becomes invalidated because all the pictures were taken several days after 9/11, reconstruction has already begun on the pentagon. And where did all the bits and pieces of the airplane go if such a thing ever hit our pentagon? And what about those people who say "it sounded like a missile?" It's called a simile. It's a figure of speech, and it doesn't mean that an actual missile really hit our building.
