I'm planning on buying an Ipod cause I'm tired of using my phone for a Mp3 player because it is unorganized. I am going to have to use itune, obviously. I am currently and have been using Winamp. I wondering how I can move my winamp playlist to itune and also move all my songs in my playlist directly to my ipod.

If all your music is organized into folders on your computer, you can just add your music folder by folder. Once your music is in itunes, it automagically syncs to your ipod when you plug it in.

Futhermore if your music has the adequate information you don't need to have them in folders.
iTunes will automatically create a folder for each artist that appears on your music tags. (When you add all of your media to iTunes)

It's not that. I mean the songs in my playlist, not my folder. Only songs that I like from my music folder are in the playlist. I want those songs in the playlist to be in my ipod without having to move it 1 by 1.

Echo, Zen by Creative, works 20 times better, and you can right click on winamp, and go to sendto, (MP3 player)

When you have all your music imported to iTunes you can simply just drag and put the songs that you like on your iPod. (an iPod button appears on iTunes when you plug it in and you can drag items to it.)
You can also import different playlist types I think.

.txt, .xml and .m3u if you want to know.
iPod uses m3u only.

So, your playlist is under 'Playlists' in the sidebar thingy? With the playlist in the browser window, you can go File > Save Playlist to save it as a .m3u playlist or another format. Then you can click-and-drag the playlist into iTunes (well, that's the only way I could get it to work). From there, you can sync the stuff to your iPod or whatever.

And I'm pretty sure WinAmp supports most iPods anyway.
