I've started making a map making trivia. I know someone had one some time ago but it probably got lost, so I started making a new one. Feel free to post any other question and I'll add it to the trivia file :)

Those seem like very subjective questions, often using terms that specific people have made up. I would test more your knowledge of starcraft and mapmaking more than knowledge of our own community's terms.

63 or less. most often it's 62 in order to make space for a comment.

We live in a society.

You don't have to use 63. You could do it with any number, it will just affect the number of types it will run before they all finish. There is also the other method for perpetual hyper triggers that uses two triggers, three waits, and a switch.

Ya. I use that one. I'm not too fond of spamming my actions with Wait 0.
I'd do things more like "What is the maximum amount of actions?"(64) and "What is the maximum amount of conditions?"(16)
Maybe include some other map limits: "What is the maximum amount of units that can be on the map?"(1700).

The trivia questions were a bit outdated. I edited first post with the current ones.

That's only if you have them in english and order them alphabetically.

Not really, they're terms that everybody should know even if some people have made them up because everybody uses the same term to refer to them.

Is it 1700? I had it set to 1650 because that's SCMDraft2 unit limit.

The StarEdit limit is 1650, StarCraft's is 1700.

- What is an inverted location? a location whose X coordinates are flipped and/or whose Y coordinates are flipped
- How many trigger cycles run per second? 12.something
- What are the three detectable removable spells? disruption web, dark swarm, recall
- What is the one detectable, unremovable spell? scanner sweep
- What's a CCMU message? cannot create more units - means maximum number of units exist in the game
- How many elevation flags are there for locations? 6
- What determines which elevation an air unit is in? the elevation of the ground below it
- How can a unit be killed without adding to its Death Count? using a Kill Unit trigger
- What happens when you move a unit to an unavailable location? or, What's a way to keep a unit stationary?
- How can you detect if a zerg unit is burrowed? constantly move a unit to a 1x1 pixel location centered on the zerg unit
- What does CamSys stand for? (old, I know, but I think they deserve it) camelot systems
- What programs did CamSys produce? StarDraft, StarGraft, Arsenal I-III/0, ArrEdit, ICE, ISOM, MPQDraft101, TileEdit (there may be more, I don't know)
- What was the infamous problematic file for StarDraft/StarGraft? storm.dll
- What's the only way to have a broodling that won't die automatically? use a Create WITHOUT properties trigger
