I love the thought about the gaming point, but that isn't something that my dad is interested in. I kinda figured that this topic really isn't any more asking about what I should get my dad but rather which is the best MP3 player out there right now.

Apple is more stylish than a Zune, and I think the software is actually a little easier to do the basics with, other than that, a Zune is better, feature-wise.

CREATIVE > ALL! I had the creative zen until it was stolen but man did it ever kick ass. My older brother even ended up buying the same one. Use dvd platinum to rip and resize so your ipod plays it at best quality. Also, anyway we could add a pole? My ipod just got washed and it's RIP, so i'm decinding what to get now. I don't want a touch, so its between the 80gb ipod or a zune of similar capacity.
