Holy shit, that was really close. I was expecting some random goon, not someone I knew. My roommate is in that shot, but I am not.

What is "The Citadel", some kind of military thing? Also everyone looks mostly exactly the same. ;o

I'm going to have to assume it's the military college of South Carolina, as well as the first American college to fire on the federal government (welcome to Charleston). More importantly, wat

Hell yes I did. That tree with the massive roots.
I found that.
During some of the LANs I held I got everyone to come out into the forest middle of the night with torches - blair witch style.
One time we followed this bell-sound for ages trying to find out what it was and trying to imagine what sort of ghostly horror awaited us... until the next day when my dad said it was probably just a cow.
Also there's no one around so we can make as much noise as we want; I had big piss-ups there on occasion.
It was fathers day the other day and we brought my sister's Canadian bf out to the farm and showed him country living, including shooting up tin cans and stuff with these:
This is my great grandfather's Lee Enfield, complete with bayonet.Comparison between regular .22 round and the rounds the Lee Enfield was using. We were splitting wood with it.
Birmingham Small Arms 12 gauge shotgun also owned by my great grandfather, I believe. This olympic-grade target pistol is probably the one I have used the most at the range. It looks like a silencer to the untrained eye but that's actually just a weight designed to lower recoil. The bruno. Being seated and using a scope made it ridiculously easy even at 50 metres.Nice Lee-Enfield. Well, I mean it's nice to see a Lee-Enfield although that one seems well-worn. What Mk is it? You said great-grandfather so I'm guessing a Mk III or IV - there should be some markings on it somewhere.

What is wrong with the img tags? They never work properly for me.

You're using the image tags correctly and they're working as intended.
The problem is there's a maximum resolution you can't go over, even with forced resolutions, so pages won't get distorted by overly large pictures. I'm not sure what this resolution is exactly (about half a screen on Carbonite). So when an axis' resolution is over it gets set to maximum, no regard for aspect ratio.
The good thing is when you
don't force resolution the image will be sized down (
with regard to aspect ratio) just enough so both axes are within the limit. So just don't add resolution and the picture will be as large as possible and not distorted.
Of course clicking the image always shows the full resolution.
Thanks for the explanation - definitely helps. I tried leaving the resolution blank, however I then get the "failed to get size" error.

Seems to be an issue with https. Change the link to http. Also get rid of the "|0|0" at the end of the link (maybe that's just coming up when I try to quote for some reason).
Oh no, I'm sticking with long hair.

I tried to grow long hair, got about half that length and was like AAAAGH IT BURNS and ran to the hairdresser immediately.
My hair's longer than Payne's and I'm not even homeless.
