MASTERS OF HOLOCAUST What would happen if World War 2 was fought 200 years in the future, instead of in the 1940's? This mod answers that question. MoH is me & my teams SMC entry mod. As stated above, it is centered around World War 2, 200 years in the future. It was originally going to have 6 factions, but we decided against it due to lack of time. So, it just includes 2, beefed up factions, ready to fight each other to the death. ALLIES Utilize the Allies powerful armor division and highly trained infantry to crush the Nazi scum!![]() In this pic we can see the Allied heavy infantry, the Grenadiers, a Saber tank, (Hovering unit) and 2 sensor units (Radar drone GRP, not the worker spidermines, like the one next to the Starport) Grenadiers play an important role in the first stages of the game, and their powerful (soon to be added) abilities help give them and your units a heavy advantage in the field. Sabers are light hovercraft tank, capable of flying over all terrain. They are not very strong, so are best used as quick harassment units and scouts. Sensor units are probably the most annoying unit ever. These things are darn fast, and can detect cloaked units. They also have the Entrench ability, which allows them to burrow into the ground, undetectable. Although, this is a one shot movement, you cannot un-entrench the unit. ![]() Here is a very important Allied siege unit. The Sherman M4 Calliope tank. It boasts a large LRM launcher on the top of it. Its main attack can only attack air units. It (will soon be added) also has a missile barrage ability, able to shoot 20+ missiles from a long distance over the map. This ability will target ground units, not air units. ![]() Lastly, the Allied Pershing Heavy Tank. These things are the most wicked units of the Allies. Pershing tanks are capable of destroying any other tank with ease, as well as cutting down infantry with its front mounted Machine Gun. (Yes, I know there are a ton of other units to cover, but I am too lazy. Just wait for the release of the mod) AXIS Command the most powerful fleet of warships in the entire Solar System to take down all who oppose you! ![]() Here we can see Storm Marines (Marine(duh)), Reapers (Spider mines with turret), and Wolverines. Wolverines are basically the Axis main unit, they have decent ground attack power, with nice anti air missile systems as well. An all-around good unit for pretty much any situation. These cannot fly over high terrain, like Sabers can. The Storm Marines' role changes as the game goes on. It starts off as a normal marine unit, nothing too special, but can be upgraded with powerful abilities, so this is pretty much the Axis version of the Grenadier. Reapers are a very quick, weak way of harassing the enemy. They wield dual machine guns on the turret, and are really only effective against infantry in early game. ![]() Spider Tanks. A wicked line of Axis war machines. There are (going to be) about 3-4 variants of these, so you can adjust what type of Spider Tank you need in different situations. They fire a burst of about 8 rockets and both air and ground targets. (For now, with the addition of other variants of these, I will probably make the LRM ST an AA unit only.) ![]() Here it is. The pride and joy of the Axis army. Its Navy. These things are wicked. The big scary spidery thing is the Axis Battlestation.(Plays the role of the Carrier) The one selected is the missile frigate. The other Science Vessel one is the UWP Siege Platform. The Black Carrier is the DDT Torpedo Destroyer. The Cobra (as seen in GU) is the Light Strike bomber, good at hit and run attacks. The large Valkyrie is the GFT-9 Axis Gunship. --- Release Date: June 6, 2008 --- Well, hope you all like how it looks. Ive put quite a lot of time into this as well. OH! Forgot to add- Two New systems are integrated in this. 1: These Upgrade point system. You research all your upgrades at the Command Center. They all cost 1 vespane gas, but you only get 10 vespane to start with. You cant mine anymore. So, you have 10 upgrades (Maybe less, depends on testing) to choose from. This enables you to put a lot of power toward your tactics you employ to the game. 2: The Galactic Unrest Research Tech Tree System. That means your tech tree is now combined with several technologies you have to research in order to gain access to units and buildings. I think thats about it... Comments? Requests? Death Threats? |

Yeah, those things took me a really long time to make. Its not that it was hard, just really frustrating, especially when Voy told me I needed to do some extra crap with the .lo?'s for the turret. Needless to say, it turned a unit that should only take about 20 minutes to make, into a unit that took 2 hours to make.
And yeah Voy. Your CD just couldn't take the awesome that was being extracted from it.

Didn't we discuss that Jewish people would be mined from (insertnamehere) and burned in a furnace?

Didn't we discuss that Jewish people would be mined from (insertnamehere) and burned in a furnace? You just don't remember...Either way I'm pretty sure we discarded that idea.

New unit I got in today:
A variant of the Spider Tank with a heavy blast cannon mounted on top of it. ![]() This variant is much much slower then the LRM Spider tank. But, it is much much much more powerful, and expensive. This is the axis equivalent to the Allied Pershing tank. It is produced at the same building as the normal LRM Tank, the Robotics support bay (Spider Tank Assembly, as named ingame). You can also see the new Axis console under it if you look hard. But, for the lazy, look below.

Thanks Pandut.
Nazi Panzer II: ![]() The Panzer II will serve as a direct attack unit, rather then a splash attack unit. This unit is practically a more efficient version of the Wolverine. Good vs Infantry and Lighter Vehicles. Mmm... Here is why the Calliope is a siege unit: ![]() Missile Barrage. 22 range, does a hella lot of splash damage. Costs 150 energy. (20 per missile, insane splash radii) VERY effective vs groups of any type of unit. Is moderate against light buildings, and ineffective against heavily armored buildings. |
