So I skipped school today and since it's so nice out I decided to return some of my beer empties. I made about 6$ and decided to head over to my depaneur (Quebec's version of a corner store) to buy a Monster energy drink. I sat at my computer and started to skim through the SEN forums and out of boredom, I decided to make a little poll on what people's favorite energy drinks are, or what your opinions are on them. I just listed the ones that I think are the most common so please vote other and specify what that drink is if you don't see your drink on the list.

Energy Drinks are a waste. To be honest, real garbage. It messes up your system if you drink too much. 1 Engery Drink is like sipping through 20 cups of coffee; but worse because it's concentrated. My favourite Energy Drink is no energy drink at all. Yum, Soft-Drink Pepsi, Yum, yum, eat up.

I actually drink a ton of Monster and coffee almost daily, and I'm... *twitch* ...fine. I dunno, though, sodas are bad for you in other ways as well. I just stopped drinking Coke and the like because the caffeine wasn't working as well for me compared to coffee and Monster.

Caffiene has an adverse effect on me... :P It makes me [i]really[/i] tired (but attentive.) I havn't dared drink an energy drink.

If I drink this I get REALLY hyper but when the effect's over I would have burnt 400% sugar making me really tired, depressed and moody.

Energy Drinks are useless. They're bad for you and you get a BIG crash later. It is also known as a depressant because you get depressed afterwards. No smart person works out with energy drinks or do sports with it. I used to drink it when I would aggressive skate but I started to notice I began to become tired like 1 hour after. Few days ago I got free redbull from the red bull girls and I drank like 3 and I felt like I was being stabbed in the stomach few minutes later. They're going to bring a lot of red bulls for free to prom and theres going to be a lot of girls, but fuck them. For taste, I would say Monster KHAOS is the best, but I recently tasted Jolt energy drink which comes in a cool tall metal bottle. Great taste, and not much of a crash afterwards.

Right, I've heard about one or two of the ones listed in the poll :P I've actually never even tasted any energy drinks. I prefer getting the energy in a little by little. Therefore do I drink Pepsi or Coca Cola (or Jolly Cola, but that's sort of hard to find).

Ever tried that Surge wannabe Soda/Energy drink Vault? Surge was the best! I don't know why they discontinued it. I remember my 3rd grade teacher telling me it wasn't good for me. The color was great, the taste was great, and it was EXTREME!

The Vitamin Energy company is in my borough. The drink has great effects and no downers and it doesn't make you tired afterwards. I'm just pissed that 50 Cent partially owns it.

Monster rocks. There is this rare [url=http://www.energyfiend.com/2007/02/howling-monkey-energy-drink]Howling Monkey Cola[/url] that I find in obscure bodegas on occasion, which kicks ass. It contains QUININE. What compounds its awesomeness is the fact that it was 50 cents for 16oz. IMO, Red Bull is overrated. While it is more concentrated than other energy drinks, it's small size and higher cost don't give you as much of the chemical goodness. It also doesn't taste very good to me. :P
