Farty, do you know how to enable EUD actions on any patch?

Let's start making REAL maps with EUD conditions and bring them to the forefront of mapmaking.

( More? )

Yes, but you need to add custom functions for Set Deaths (I can add it to my trigger plugin, though with that it would be useless.)

Unit selection, unit properties, text detection. There is a ton you can do.

I tried to test for something ( HP ) and failed. What I did was I had the unit selected then searched for a value of ~100. Then I attacked the unit and then searched for a value of its current HP. I was extremely lost. Is their some specific directions on how to search for something?

Uh... You don't use arbitrary numbers? And why would you search for one anyway just because some unit is selected?

Well, apparently I had no clue what I was doing.

Search for current HP, then change the hp (damage it/fully heal it) sieve for current HP, repeat until you find it. It's not hard.

I actually would like to do what Doodle77[MM] did in his Mouse Defense 3 map. I think it would be faster for a user to move their mouse and have a trigger move their bounder then it would be to order it. He only has it for 1 player though. I also noticed that he had the triggers ( UnitID's ) for player 1 and player 2. Is it possible to make it a 4 player map? Their has to be 4 inputs of EUD"s in the conditions. Up, Down, Left, Right.

Mouse position is most definitely not shared. And the 'player' an EUD detects for does not mean the in-game player.

Why are the offsets of the player's minerals two?

One is probably the displayed amount, the other 12 (the first one) is for Players 1-12.

When adding entries, try to make them descriptive if it is something like that.

I just found a link to a free version of IDA (This is an old, stripped-down version that they made available to get hooked on their system, I guess). IDA is a truly awesome system, and it's great for figuring out where things are in SC's memory without doing all that artmoney crap. If someone could figure out a way to collaboratively work on the IDA database that would be awesome. But anyway, here it is if you're interested:

Oh, I just realized that I didn't even say what it is. This is a disassembler. If you don't know x86 assembly, google for some references. The wikipedia page isn't bad, but not very explicit.

I use ODB, Heimdal. :P

The struct is in the reference tab (actually, it is the only thing there. :P )

I'm going to be cleaning out these "Wrong address" and "Bullshit" entries. So if there is any that are incorrect that I miss, post them here.

I know im reviving this, but I don't think it should die. This is a really useful tool, and I think this should be stickied.

Taylor Swift -- terran almost always opens with 5 rax reaper, and the zerg can barely ever do anything about it in TvZ.

Taylor Swift -- tell me a better cheese strat that is constantly used by high level players?
[09:54 pm]
Taylor Swift -- yeah, but nothing is as effective as 5 rax reaper as a cheese strat, and this build has the easiest time transitioning into a solid mid-game.
