Oh wait... you said MELEE? Then you're indeed in the wrong section.
This would be the right spot But don't worry, I'll answer it nevertheless: In melee you cannot fix the start locations. That's part of the melee feeling. However, I think you can use "Alles erlaubt" (this is german for "everything allowed", I don't know the correct sc term, maybe someone can help out) when you want a "nearly standard melee game" with some modifications. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://sonsofwar.pyrom.net/index.html___0% 100% |

If it's a normal melee map for 8 players there's no need to fix the locations.
If it's a campaign-type map you should make it UMS. You instantly win as UMS because the default melee triggers make you win, since you have no enemies (you have to change some slots into computers, or have other people join the game). You also have to preplace main buildings, then run an AI Script with the Run Ai Script At Location action. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

This "almost melee" is in the list of game types when you create a game. When I'm not mistaken it's free for all in english. But I cannot tell you if this mode gives comps ai's. You should test that.
And as I said, when you need fixed start locations you cannot use melee. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://sonsofwar.pyrom.net/index.html___0% 100% |
