Ok so I'm making a sc map, and I'd like to include this very ellusive sound. It's mst familiarly used in digimon when there is digivolving taking place. I've always likened it to the screams if a thousand babies being held over an open flame. It's one of the few noises that can make my hair stand up on end. I NEED THIS POWER! I've tried ripping the sound from countless youtube clips, but they all have the fucking background music playing, which ruins it. I need this sound clean and by itself. I've resorsted to trying to make it myself in ACID. I'm not having much luck. If a synth is what makes the sound, then I'm guessing it's either a siren or whistle emulation. I've also heard it in the first episode of Naruto(but ofcourse he is screaming NO NO NO at the same time.) I'm taking a stab in the dark here, hoping a senner here know what I'm talking about. gogogogogo!

hmmm, a new lead.... Are there any games in particular that would most likely have the sound without anything in the background?

Theres' pretty much a high chance there might be bg music but if you're a master hacker then you can extract the actual voice file. Or if there is a sound test option ( as seen in the kirby games ) you can find the pure sound and record it. For the games try the ones on the home consoles.
