Usually this error is pretty much what the error message is telling you: Too much nooks and crannies . Widen corridors to fix it.
However I'll explain it: When you make very detailed terrain there are many cliffs and cliffs near cliffs and such. As you might have noticed every tile is divided in 4x4 sub tiles that control where a unit can walk (or not). Now when you have many cliff tiles near each other narrow paths of 1 or 2 sub-tile width are created. If there are too many of them sc runs out of memory or something and gives this error message. To fix it make the terrain simpler and try to avoid those small sub-tile passages. When I remember correctly this was only ONE of the reasons for this error - the one it was written for. If my advice doesn't help, tell me and I'll check if I can find the old topic about it for more information. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://sonsofwar.pyrom.net/index.html___0% 100% |

Well this map is sort of like an Arena RPG...not so much on the RPG part, but you gain levels (up to 50) which you upgrade for and your skills (Exp: Mechanic can build barricades - as he levels, the barricades' health goes up). I have basically most of the map set up for bases and paths for missions and what not. I even widened most of the small high terrain to make it less crookish.

I have attached the map, so if you can see if there is a spot or maybe more than 1 that this effect would apply to...that would causes the error, then please tell me what I am missing here :\. Thanks! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I want to explain the concept of the map to tell you why there are so many hills. Basically every 2 minutes after you kill a spawn, another one is formed, but you as a team have 2 minutes to run around the map finding helpful items and fulfilling quests. The high terrain and stuff serve as a base setup where your team can camp and set up base as the spawns come. I need terrain like the one I have, so before I go and start it all over, is it possible to do this? I don't feel like wasting my time again just to get disappointed.
