Trying to make a micro round on a UMS map for 1 Hydralisk against 1 Science Vessel. I want the Science Vessel to Irradiate the Hydralisk so that it can morph into a Lurker to survive the Irradiate by canceling the lurker morph last minute. However, my triggers are done wrong and when the hydra morphs into a lurker it automatically resets the round. Someone with more knowledge please help me.
For which player will this trigger execute?
Player 1
Conditions:
Player 1 brings exactly 0 Zerg Lurker Egg to Hydra vs Irradiate.
Player 1 brings exactly 0 Zerg Hydralisk to Hydra vs Irradiate.
Actions:
Kill all any unit for player 1 at Hydra vs Irradiate.
Kill all any unit for player 2 at Hydra vs Irradiate.
Create 1 Zerg Hydralisk at Hydra for player 1
Create 1 Terran Science Vessel at Vessel for Player 2. Apply properties.
Preserve Trigger.
None.
Not sure if it detects Lurker egg correctly. Maybe just try checking if Player 1 brings 0 Lurkers?

Ya that's probably it. Eggs are weird in detections. If I understand
this correctly you cannot detect lurker eggs at all. What you could do is
Lose trigger 1:
C: Current Player brings at least 1 Lurker to Hydra vs Irradiate
A: reset
Lose trigger 2:
C: Current Player has suffered at least 1 death of Hydra
A: Set deaths for Current Player of Hydra to 0
A: reset

Cocoons, Nuclear Missiles, Zerg Eggs, and Zerg Lurker Eggs will not register as "[men]" or "[any unit]" in the Bring condition. The Nuclear Missile will register as a Nuclear Missile in conditions, the Zerg Egg will register as a Zerg Egg, and Cocoons will register as Cocoons, but the Lurker Egg will not register as a Lurker Egg.
You can also circumvent those annoying quirks with EUDs (I use EUD Editor 2) by changing values under the StarEdit tab in the DatEditor:
The top image is the lurker egg's defaults, the bottom image is the lurker's settings which if you change the lurker egg's settings to match the lurkers, the lurker egg should behave more like a normal unit. I believe the conditions that matter here are the "Non-Location Triggers" and "Location Triggers" ones. Having those set will allow you to do more normal trigger operations on lurker eggs.
