I used EUD Editor 3 version 0.14.2.1:
Trigger > Action
1. SetNextUnitPtrEpd -> Select a global variable you created for this purpose (idk what ptr and epd is so I used both).
2. CreateUnit -> Choose 1 of whatever unit you want but know that the global variable you chose before will refer to this unit.
3. SetCUnitepd -> Choose the global variable from before + secondaryOrderID + 109 + set to
In my example I named the global variable "Terr"
To turn off the cloak
SetCUnitepd -> Choose the global variable from before + secondaryOrderID + 110 + set to
109 and 110 are order IDs and there is a list here: http://farty1billion.dyndns.org/EUDDB/?pg=ref&a=orders
///////////////////// Old post:
I've been playing around in EUD Editor 3 trying on my own because I can't find any tutorials except for this one: https://github.com/Ar3sgice/eudtools/wiki/EUD-Tutorial:-How-to-make-units-other-than-spellcasters-cast-spells
But it's not a hold-your-hand-tutorial even though I understand it I don't know how he does it in the program like it is shown in the tutorial.
Is there a better tutorial and if not can somebody explain what he does at the EUD Editor 3 part at the end?
As an example in my struggle: It starts with some Korean and "Hydra" which translates to "Declare the variable Hydra".
How is that done?
then it goes to "onPluginStart".
so I would think there is a function/condition like that in the trigger editor but I couldn't find it.
So I continue in the code to "Set Animation value for Cast Disruption Web : SetTo 3".
And ofc I am just lost at this point.
Progress: I've gotten far enough to realize he is writing it in "Only Code" mode. And I've written "function onPluginStart" but then the tutorial shows two words that translates to "Arguments" and "Content".
It might help me to know which programming language this is. I've never seen anything like it. Looks like C++ with spacings for parameters and content and no () {}.
