Story:
The Overmind has sent his best Cerebrate on the trail of the psionic signal. You need to find it.

Forces:
Teal Zerg - Nargil's Brood (player). You must find a psionic signal and resist your enemies.

Purple Zerg - Araq's Brood (ally). The Overmind has called Araq to help you find the psionic signal.

Red Terran - Sons of Korhal (enemy). A small group that remainded after the installation of the Psi Emitter.

Orange Terran - Confederacy (enemy). After installing the Psi Emitter they fortified their positions. They are ready to resist.

Idea:
The mission is based on a map from 7 mission 1 episode.

Can you please inform where does the mission "Finding the Way" fits exactly in the StarCraft storyline? between which missions?

Right after the mission "Trump Card" (7th map of Episode 2).

I think you probably meant 7th map of Episode I.

I summarized below where fits each mission in the StarCraft storyline:
Map 1: Fury of the Swarm: Taking place during Episode II Alternative to the 2nd mission
Map 2: The Praetor's Fall: Taking place during Episode III between 3th and 4th mission
Map 3: Assault on Antiga Prime: Taking place during Episode I between 4th and 5th mission
Map 4: The Restructuring: Taking place during Episode IV before the 1st mission
Map 5: Check, but not checkmate: Taking place during Episode II between 6th and 7th mission
Map 6: Finding the Way: Taking place during Episode I between 7th and 8th mission

I checked the starcraft fandom website https://starcraft.fandom.com/wiki/Desperate_Alliance and it seems Edmond Duke was already on the planet during Mission 3 of Episode I (Desperate Alliance) Therefore, Assault on Antiga Prime would be a prequel of 3rd mission of Episode I?


I rechecked the fandom detailed description of episode IV, https://starcraft.fandom.com/wiki/StarCraft_Episode_IV and it is interesting to point out that for mission 4 The Quest for Uraj, it is written "The Uraj was located on Braxis, a perpetually frigid world recently fortified by the Terran Dominion. ", assuming that UED was already there at the 4th mission. In this context, is it be fair to say, The Restructuring is a prequel of the 4th mission of Episode IV?

Story:
While Kerrigan directs the Swarm against Augustgrad, Fenix, Jim and Arcturus are assaulting the outlying bases.

Forces:
Blue Terran - Raynor's Raiders (player). Under the command of Raynor, you must help Mengsk clear the Outher Reaches of the UED & Zerg forces.

Blue Protoss - Fenix's forces (ally). Fenix assist Raynor & Mengsk in destroying the UED.

Red Terran - Mengsk's forces (ally). Mengsk returns to his homeland to regain control of it.

White Terran - UED's forces (enemy). The main enemy that must be destroyed.

Green Terran - UED's forces (enamy). Analogue of the blue Terrans from episode 6 of mission 4.

Orange Zerg - Renegade Zerg (enemy). Zerg controlled by The UED on Korhal.

Yellow Zerg - Renegade Zerg (enemy). Advanced Zerg's prototypes that were captured by the Directorate.

Idea:
The mission is based on a standard map from the folder "Brood War" called "Cauldron".

This mission is parallel 6.4 mission of original story.
Do you remember how Kerrigan attacked Korhal?
Meanwhile Fenix, Raynor & Mengsk attacked the outer reaches. So this map demonstrate it.

Story:
Zamara is telling Jake the story of Tassadar's struggle against the Conclave.

Forces:
Blue Protoss - Tassadar's Forces (player). You must destroy the Conclave.

Teal Protoss - Tassadar's Forces (ally). Tassadar. The hero for you and heretic for Conclave.

Red, orange, purple, white Protoss - Conclave (enemy). The remaining army of the Conclave which must be destroyed.

Yellow Protoss - Conclave (enemy). Members of the Conclave who should be killed.

Idea:
The mission is based on a standard map from the folder "Brood War" called "Jungle Siege" & chapter 7 of 3th book Dark Templar Saga «Twilight» by Christie Golden.

Blue Zerg - Kagg's Brood (ally). The Overmind gave the Surtur Brood a chance to prove itself on the Char Aleph.

Tarsonis will soon be consumed by the Zerg, and the Terrans are doomed to die. However, they had hope for rescue.

Teal Protoss - Protoss Expeditionary Fleet (ally). Tassadar.

Brown, orange, yellow, teal Terrans - The Confederacy (ally). Their death is inevitable if you do not come to the rescue.

Just to advise you I started translated these missions into French (working from the English version, as I don't speak Russion at all)
