January 3rd 2020 (DAY MORNING)

A body was discovered. Found between used, cheap, motel white sheets with a distinct sweat smell particular only of a rough-intense loving night. The assassin was thoughtful, he even left a note, despite the lack of any other evidence whatsoever.

Not particulary hidden were the bottles of vodka, gin, rum and god forbid a whole set of collection of bottles that would put any ordinary person's house bar to shame, it was a drinking night for sure.

On plain sight in the cherry colored rosewood were the pills. E, snow white, MJ, take your pick, it was a crazy night for sure and someone's daughter was laying flat, lifeless, her eyes stared deep into the void.

The note left smelled of cheap liquor and, oddly, Chanel No 5. The killer took his time, the killer was prepared, this was planned. Opening the envelop revealed a three-times folded letter which read:

ROLES:

THE KILLER (Mafia)
We do not know much about him/her. All we know is he/she has killed someone, has left a note and has left no other clues whatsoever. The killer may place a hit whenever and the hit will be included at my will as the plot thickens. Killer wins when no other player is alive.

THE DETECTIVES (Townies)
Oddly suspicious, they were all nearby the scene when called to the place of the murder. They rely on the clues in the scene and whatever other bits of information they can get ahold of (Yes, clues will actually matter). When a consensus is reached by the majority of the detectives one player is put in jail. On that turn the player in jail must answer the questions the detectives ask. If they're not convinced that player is shot to death. Detectives win when the killer is dead.
(A consensus is reached when half the players or more name someone or when someone is voted the most)

THE LOVER
Nothing is known about the partner of the body found. Finding him/her is key as the partner is usually the primary suspect in cases like this. (Clues will also point to this role, this role may also coincidentally be the killer)
The lover wins when no other player is alive or when he/she gets laid again. Must post video evidence to prove it.

HOW TO PLAY:

The game is split into three phases, night, day morning and day afternoon.

The Night is when the kill hits are placed. Players may or may not want to plot during this time, though, if you've ever played mafia if you speak too soon a kill hit might be in retaliation to you!

The day morning is when the players reach a consensus. They determine which player to send to prison. The player who is voted the most in this topic will be put in jail.

The day afternoon is when the player put in jail uses the post clues or whatever method of bribery or mischief he wishes to use to convince the players that voted for him to abstain their votes. If he does not manage to convince all players he will be executed. And the time moves back to night.

There will be clues posts between all three phases of the game. Clues vary from the more direct to the most obscure, also take note in date stamps of the clues, it will help you track the whereabouts of the killer and/or players as there are clues on where everyone was/is at the time and remember that clues may frame the killer and/or the lover.

January 1st 2020 (NIGHT)

Dashing in her v-back black dress she ordered another appletini, the third one this night, the third one this year. She never really thought that after everything that had happened, she would end up this new year’s celebration night loathing herself at a random bar.

Stranger: Did you know, the appletini is not really a martini?
Someone’s daughter: How so? -she said, visibly uncomfortable-
Stranger: It has no gin!
Someone’s daughter: They’re still good anyway. – she said while shrugging and turning her head back to the television broadcasting a repeat on how New Zealand celebrated new year’s-
Stranger: So, I’m a detective, have you ever met one before?
Someone’s daughter, now visibly annoyed: Aren’t we all? You’re the fourth one tonight.
Stranger: Heh, I guess in a way you’re right, we are all detectives, but you shouldn’t have come to a cop bar if you didn’t like law enforcers.
Someone’s daughter: I’m sorry, I’ve just had a rough… year. -She said realizing that of all places she really did enter a cop bar-

The bar was at a low, not many people were in, you could count them with a single hand, they all really did seem like cops. They all also seemed to know each other, despite all three of them being in different tables, perhaps this was a cop bar near a police station, perhaps they all were on license and did not have families to go back to on this day or perhaps they had all lied and stayed here, drinking the hell out of their soul.

Yes, There are clues in that post. And while the prologue doesn't have clues per se I have tied it to the events that took, are taking or will take place. So it is important. Also, in the OP there's a list of the posts that matter.
