I need you help. Who know what the problem?
I can't open both maps through Scmdraft and I don't understand why.
I tryed translate campaign, but that files not opened.
Maybe you know some converter from scm to scx or something else.
I heard that Insurrection had broken files. Maybe between it one problem.
I have something to add: the maps can be opened with StarEdit but not WinMPQ (it crashes - therefore I can't extract the scenario.chk file to tinker with it) nor SCMDraft (saying it's unsupported MPQ format). I tried editing one of the maps a bit and save it as SCX in Staredit (the one from 1.16) but it still comes out unreadable.
At first I thought it was related to the issue that usually prevents people from opening the "hidden" maps from Rebel Yell, and to that end I procured the SC 1.0 staredit.exe and storm.dll. It opens the maps fine but there's nothing that can be done later.

That's weird. I've seen this kind of protection (invalidating MPQ) in the latest protection tools. I managed to repack it, but the files are somewhat larger (everything left uncompressed). How did you get those files?

T-warp, I loaded folder with campaign from MEGA. There this broken files.

It's possible that MPQ libraries that are up to date disregarded some previous format detail. Original storm.dll was able to read it (that's what I used to repack it), the one used in SCMDraft could not. I can make you a repacker tool if you want to repack multiple files at once.
Wonder why opening it with (decently) up-to-date StarEdit didn't do the trick of updating the format...
(I wonder if the editor from 1.22 could've done something as there appeared to be different "Remastered" formats. I was never able / inclined to study the differences between these and "normal" SCM/SCX though.

I don't know anything about "Remastered formats" and I made a few map editors and tools.

From what I gathered StarEdit really did not cause any difference, maybe when it referred to "Remastered" SCM and SCX it only meant the maps with 1.22 doodads. This distinction did appear with the 1.22 patch.
