So I was wondering... what should I code next?
Anything but the DLDB is fair game.
Some suggestions: Finish Tutorials, make page X prettier, minerals/store, add a warn system though IP says not to, etc. Or you can go "mapping contest plz" if you want to.
I need motivation. :O

This place needs more pie.
Maybe you could code some more of the Mafia game into the site, instead of having just a topic in Null.
Dunno. :/

Code the Javascript page jump - you click on "x pages" and you can go to that page.

I would probably recommend a v4 style warn system; it seemed to be working fine.

Not really. Here was my proposal (I guess I can take this out of the staff forum since I wrote it :P )

QuoteThis is just a simple draft of a system, let me know what you think.

Everyone starts at 0%, that is the minimum. The maximum is 100%.

Warn level decreases by 1% per day.
Warn level decreases by 1% with each legitimate and "good" post. (or if they spam garbage, they get themselves thrown out faster) - Null and such wouldn't count.

Violations of rules carry exact punshiments, with increments for repeat offenses. Some offenses will carry their own "bans".

WL > 40 or 50%? = half mineral gain from posting.
WL > 70% = no mineral gain from posting.
WL > 90 or 95% = "suspended". Due to the 1% decrease per day and restrictions on how warn goes down, this translates 100% into an automatic "ban" for some number of days.

"Suspended" in this case means the account is still active, but they cannot make posts, edit wikis, comment on maps, etc. All other non-editing functions are still active. (to discourage registration of more accounts)

Now that I look for it, there doesn't seem to be a 'mark forum as read/unread' function.

Seems to me like this just screws the people who spend most of their time there. I'm not going to be posting much ( or likely not at all ) until I get my bloody map finished. Null is where the rest of my time is spent, with the exception of a very occasion post in the modding area. Even if I do think that more problem'd be caused by people like me complaining than actual implementation, assuming moderators do their job well, as has often been the case in SEN's history...
*shutsup*

I'd like the 'Find Posts/Find Topics' options to work. >.<

Well, then you have two things on your side:
a. You're not posting much, so you can't do much wrong to keep it going up.
b. You lose 1% per day, and since you're not here much, the time will just fly by as it drops.

Implement a wiki-like thingie into the tutorial database. Members can slightly edit it, and when the tutorial manager approves it, the tutorial is updated.

Start the DLDB, dammit. No need to get fancy, just make it a place where we could upload files and put information about the map.

Map/Program/Mod reviews, with comments to the reviews (and comments to the tutorials as well, maybe). A forum/tutorial/DLDB global search function would be nice.

Make a DLDB but only for main files like starforge SCMDraft and that crap.
I mean only for tools. Nothing fancy just a page with links to download map and modding tools.
