How to get overlord just played a game zerg couldnt get overlord

I was protoss i think they should get archons on citadels and templars on templars archives just My openion.

The Overload as usual is created by Zerg Larva. And the overloads you created will be at your base, they are the same as spawning buildings and will spawn corresponding overloads on the battlefield at 0s.

Nice You added some text about the map. I Like that you can pick what ever mode You want. But needs to be simple at the same time Hard to do. Can You explain how the markets work?

DSA 7.3.2 is just similar to last version, it is just improve map's compress. And dsa's balance is better all the time. In China, there is a big test team professionally and thousands of players for dsa, so I think its balance is guaranteed.

Bonus system is interesting for playing, but I think too much randomness may be not good for competitiveness.

Countdown-timer increases over time in dsa for long time, but in fact, it isn't just for Max avoidance system.It also will reduce game time. And DSA's max avoidance system consists of many aspects: partition spawning, general units' evolution, growth Countdown-timer and so on.

Did You see the replay i did send cause the player i was against ended up loosing the battle without him gettin an overlord its was 30 or 40 minuts inside play he kinda tryid everything he said guess he didnt try to build an actual overlord with Larva. Maybe change and put it on a building? Like lair spawns nothing it seemed could be on lair and 2lurkee1overlord on hive im sure You can balance that into game.

And I would Like 2archon 1darchon on citadel 1dtemplar 2htemplar on templars archives makes it more easy to get archons good VS Zerg. Also having buildings Cost gas decreases your freedom of tech units, it kinda forces You to follow the same build tree game after game ofcourse can harvest gas but its not that fast as what You Like your tech build could be.

I will still say its next Best ds i played ever (not taken the market into play) and I played alot of ds. Meaning i really liked your ds Nice stuff You did must have taken You alot of time to final do something so neat(Nice) everything just working as they should lurker Ai shuttle Ai split spawns i love yeah You made something real good here. I made My own ds has alot of what i love about your map but is that tiny bit more simple and I love the gameplay in my ds and the balance so close if not perfect in it. Your ds is really good i Like it good job.

For the mid point question i added in my map is only real small. If players would get big mid point bonus than the first player to cross middle point would be the winner. So its actual real Tiny Like money on 0gas You get 16 per 16trigger cycles(1,33sec) the bonus on 0gas gives You get 1 mineral per 20trigger cycles(1,66sec). So the bonus is real small adds up over time slowly tho but thats the point of it. I played with the midpoint bonus for two weeks and sure dosent destroy competiness in game it makes building units before gas better so gassing up fast is tiny bit less good. The bonus stops when You in delay from gassing. Think about it i find it real good, just make it real tiny Like 2-4% of normal income. Have a great Day i love dsa

Ive been playing dsa more im learning it bit by bit, its Hard to get players to join it. And either they alot better than me or they alot weak er than me. Havent had an Even game on dsa so far. I still want to be better at it tho can You explain me bank ore VS a Refinery, the basics i know for excample that ore bank dosent give delay on income (stops money) and Refinery adds both gas and minerals to the income. But what is the xcakt trigger cycles on money from ore bank compared to trigger cycles from normal income (trigger cycles the speed the income is given) and happy New year

3. Interfacial System

6.Loan Bank

You can borrow 1000 ore from the loan bank each time, then you will have a Devouring One in place 6.5 as a debt, and you must pay interest until giving back to loan bank. The interest is -2.25 ore/s when you are in Lock 0 and -2 ore/s in and after Lock 1.
And then your resource reaches more than 1000 ore and move the Devouring One in place 6.5, your Devouring One will die and the Loan Bank will reduce you 1000 ore. You can just borrow one debt in Lock 0, two debts in Lock 1, three debts in Lock 2 and four debts in Lock 3.
There is a balanced rule: if you lift off building to make it's addon canceled, you can't use the Bank in that spawning cycle.

7.Cut own the P.T. (Pausal-time of income)

After you build vespene geyser, your P.T. will be added. The numerical value of them are wrote in the vespene geyser as name. For example, the first vespene geyser will add you P.T. 30s and the Second add 60s and so on. Now, you can use this function with 300 gas to cut the P.T. 30s. You don’t need wait for the decrease of the P.T. spontaneously.

8.Ore bank

It’s function is contrary to the Loan Bank’s. When you have more than 1000 ore and move a unit to Ore Bank, you will reduce 1000 ore and have a a Devouring One in place 8.5 as a bankbook, and then you will gain interest from the bankbooks. The interest is +1.75 ore/s at basics, when your computer-ally has one more silo than enemy, the interest is +2 ore/s, two more one means +2.25 ore/s, three more one means +2.5 ore/s.

But if you have one less, for example, enemy kills your silo so that its number is reduced and the interest will be reduced accordingly at the same time but it is +1.75 ore/s at least. From above the part 4 (Loan Bank), we know the maximal number of primary race’s worker and bankbook is restrained, it’s 4 in lock 0, 5 in lock 1, 6 in lock 2, 7 in lock 3.

There is a balanced rule: if you lift off building to make it's addon canceled, you can't use the Bank in that spawning cycle.


6. Resource System

The DSA needs two kind resources in default unless in the mode of No Gas (But the v6.98s has no this mode). Except the workers (SCV/Probe/Drone) gathering, the resources are from several incomes as follow:

6.1 The Vespene Geyser

Each Vespene Geyser (GAS) will offer +1.75 ore/s and +1 gas/s in default (but it will add +3.5 ore/s and +2 gas/s in the mode of Fast Income);

6.2 The Silo 1
The Silo 1 is the building Stasis Cell/Prison. It will offer +1 ore/s.

6.3 The Silo 2
The Silo 2 is the building Xel'Naga Temple. It will offer +1 ore/s. and +1 gas/s.

6.4 The Silo 3
The Silo 3 is the building Warp Gate. It will offer +1 ore/s. and +1 gas/s.

6.5 The Bomb
Each bomb from own force will offer +1 ore/s. It means your ally bomb can also offer this income. The bomb doesn't refers to you but your whole force.

6.6 The Bankbook
Each bankbook (Devouring One) in the Ore Bank will offer +1.75 ore/s in default. But it’s interest is floating, you can understand it well after read the content about Ore Bank below.

6.7 The Loan
Each loan will charge you as interest of debt. It will make your income reduce -2.25/-2.0 ore/s. You can understand it well after read the content about Loan Bank below.

6.8 In Specific Mode
In some specific mode, the income may be different. For example, in the mode of Two Silo, the Fortress (Protoss Temple) will offer +6 ore/s, but the Silos and the bombs won't, and there is a display text to you.

6.9 Difference between Vespene Geyser and Bankbook

As two main ways of gaining incomes, the vespene geyser and the bankbook are different as follow:

1)Every new vespene geyser will take you some P.T. (Pausal-time of income) and then your all income will be paused until the P.T reach 0s, but the bankbook won't take any P.T. and even it can be took out as principal which costs 1000 ore every bankbook liking current deposit in the realistic bank.

2)The kinds of their incomes are different. The vespene geyser takes incomes of ore and gas at the same time, but the bankbook only takes incomes of ore.

3)The vespene geyser’s income is settled but the bankbook’s is floating.

Thanks that explainen alot to me.. im gettin far better for each try i do at it. but most players i play says it to complicated, but im starting to like it more and more it takes some time to learn tho.

One wish i would like leaderboard to show these numbers of ressources like- loan bank, ore bank, number of silos, number of gas in other ds including mine its shown on leaderboard so youll know why you gain less or more income than opponent. the buildings thats is made is stil beeing fogged. like i played this new player he asked if i somehow was getting more income than him. would be nice if it was noticeable to see those amounts.

some of the spawn switcher system i still dont get. can you explain to me? i played one guy buying some spawn switch i was zerg so i spawned 0 guards. i bhought the spawn switcher bck but was 2 late couldnt figure it out. thanks

Ohh and another question or text fault barracks says 5 marines but it spawns only 3 why is that?

See the middle market with mineral field, it is the Spawn selector (Switcher's Leve). And dsa has two selectors called S.1 or S.2 (Custom Name:S.1: Z-VS/P-VS/T-BA $:100o.; S.2: Z-VSG/P-VCT/T-VSC $:100o.). Such as the Zerg Spire (Custom Name: 2+2/3+0/0+6 S.1=1/2/3 Mu+S) whose S.1 is 1 (s.1=1) in default, it means it will spawn 2 Mu.(Zerg Mutalisk) and 2 S.(Zerg Scourge). When you change the S.1 into S.1=2 (move the zergling there, the number of mineral field's resource will become 2), it means it will spawn 3 Mu.(Zerg Mutalisk) and 0 S.(Zerg Scourge),same example, When you change the S.1 into S.1=3, it means it will spawn 0 Mu.(Zerg Mutalisk) and 6 S.(Zerg Scourge).

DSA 7.3.2 Replays have been uploaded, and because 8.0.0 is an eud map, it can't be saved replays, but it likes 7.3.2, they are very similar, so you just need watch the 7.3.2 relplays, if you need.

Ive used your idea of having a game mode of combined spawns for players. Some players Like that game mode it offers team tactical more than regular mode. And spawns gets huge in 3v3 games cause every spawn All 3 players spawn ive reduced the income by 12-15% tho reducement is highest if 3v3 less if 2v2. The idea You made for ds is Nice Thanks alot good gaming.

By the way the been gaming your map abit too but nobody Else seem to know that you can buy No delay in the market
