How to protect your map using EUDDRAFT FREEZE

1. Open up EUD Editor 2

2. Go to Settings, and check the Plugins box.

3. Go to Plugin and write [freeze] in the text box.

Compile and enjoy :D

By doing this, you can FREEZE your map each time you save with EUD Editor 2.

Any maps saved with EUD Editor 2 cannot be opened with SCMDraft by default, but the map is still vulnerable to unprotectors.

Enabling [freeze] under Plugin will make your map safe from every unprotector known in existence. Make sure you toggle this on!

*NOTE* if you use .ogg sound files in your map, using freeze may cause errors. (Known issue)

I was play testing one of my creations a couple days ago and it crashed the game, something it has never done before. Has me feeling kind of concerned about playability of custom content going forward :/
The devs are fairly good about backwards compatibility, just sometimes takes time

The map was probably locked with SMC, I just tested it and SMC produces a very similar garbled MPQ header(with a lot of fffffffffff and an MPQ header size of 10 00 00 00 in the start), which is unreadable by the latest SC:R version(not a valid scenario error when trying to host it). An example map is a KotK map that started all this - https://app.box.com/s/pmefbgb8oay8wo3gewwl046no26lfkjx Here's a link to download the map(giving it in a space storage service since it's not a valid map and i don't want to upload broken maps on SEN/nibbits ...) It would be nice if you can show me what you're doing to test unlocking the map :)
