I am taking applications for the position of Tutorial Keepers to help run the Tutorials Database.
A Tutorial Keeper's jobs include: - Approving/denying new submissions to the Tutorials Database - Seeing that existing tutorials are updated, well-managed, and otherwise maintained. Qualities a good Tutorial Keeper should have include: - Knowledge of the subject matter. I plan on having one or two Tutorial Keepers for both mapping and modding, so knowledge of both is not required. A Tutorial Keeper must be able to judge where or not a tutorial contains accurate information. - Good grammar and spelling, for when existing tutorials require correction or new submissions must be cleaned up. Apply by posting here. You may apply in any manner you wish. Some reccomendations for your application would include demonstration of experience with and knowledge of relevant subject matter, a mature statement of why you feel you would a good tutorial keeper, and anything else that you feel would make me want to hire you. Also, note that this thread is only for posting your application or asking questions relevant to your application or future job. Posting comments on other's applications or random subjects will be deleted. Are applications still open? So long as this topic is open, you may post an application. An application may be used for hiring at any time, regardless of age. Who has been hired thus far? http://www.staredit.net/?p=members&group=380 WTF who are those people you're hiring? They didn't even post! There are threads in both Mapping Assistance and Modding Assistance. Check the other thread, they probably posted there. LOL! DTBK actually paid for this!

But then there's me
I have not only created and host the Modding Resources on corboland but also I manipulated LW and proposed a new DB. I have also written many tutorials and people know it because they've helped them. Hence Corboland's motto "Where you LEAST expect to find it" it is actually where people HAVE found it I've always said (not publicly, though) that I have barely made any mods my own because I'm too busy helping the community grow. Getting [MM] grow and active, forcing people to make mods with the motivational "Modding Revolution" and so on. Unfortunately maplantis is down so you cannot see the wiki but you can see the modding resources at Corboland or so. http://z11.invisionfree.com/Corboland/index.php?act=resources Index's there although it's outdated I think. http://z11.invisionfree.com/Corboland/index.php?showforum=9 Link to direct forum. Oh and don't be surprised if you see some rickroll over there, horde and kk have been playing with it and adding massive rickrolls on the header ![]() This post was edited 1 times, last edit by Corbo: Jan 18 2008, 11:57 pm.

Then there's me, the most annoying and experimental person out there, if mature enough to handle a responsibility.
Me (and the red-saber guy) for presid-- oh, wait. Me (and the red-saber guy) for tutorial keeper(s)! Note: This is mostly just a joke. If I'm selected, I'll laugh myself to death. Mostly. I wouldn't mind being selected and I would do my job Best grammer/spelling/reading skills in class, 8 years in a row - straight A's in literature ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Don't play with fire, play with lil-Inferno!

Well I pretty much never spell anything wrong, nor use terms like lol, rofl, or abbreviations excessively. I have a huge amount of knowledge in the field of mapmaking, but almost NONE in Modding. I'm also intelligent, so don't think i'm stupid.
