Hello,
I have been working on a map for a few hours. I designed the terrain in SCMDraft 2 and have been working on the triggers/unit placement in StarEdit. I had to make a quick change to the terrain in SCMDraft 2. After making the changes and saving the map I am no longer able to open it in StarEdit. I am able to host the map and open it with SCMDraft 2 but I would like to be able to open it in StarEdit.
Can anyone help?
Thank you,
Pauper
EDIT: I was able to open the map in version 0.8 and save it as another file. After saving the map I am able to open it on StarEdit.

Okay, why don't you use Classic Trigedit that SCM Draft 2 offers for triggers?
Some.
Switching between Staredit and Scmdraft is a good way to ruin your map. Staredit can't load a lot of things that you can do in Scmdraft, so it messes up when trying to open the file.

That is for pretty much any editor btw. (probably except chkdraft?) because of ScmDraft's string recycling.
SCMDraft Classic Trigger is buggy. I really like the interface of the trigger editor in StarEdit.

If there are bugs, report them.
Using multiple editors will only cause you problems down the line.
