Does anyone know of a working map protection that doesn't trigger "Unable to distribute map" when creating a game?
It's driving me crazy because I can unprotect some of my old maps but reprotecting them with 5 different tools all caused this issue.
ughhhh
There's something I wanna fix but I don't want to make it easier to exploit than it has to be after I'm done fixing things!

For some reason that one (least the ones I found under that name) was giving me that issue when I tried to host the map, what settings do you use and what version/where did you get yours from?
Thanks in advance.

TinyMap works beautifully and does not cause problems in my experience. also ive heard the issue was only after they released 1.18 so either im screwing something up or maybe none of them work anymore? care to test if its working for you on a new throwaway map? ive been trying to work around this problem for hours

I use that exact one and have no issues. These are my settings:
If you still have issues I doubt the protection is the problem. May be something with the map itself or the characters / length of the name.

Alright for some reason it's working now. I think maybe the version of TinyMap I found was a bad/wrong version or something, thanks for reaching out man. All the other sources I could find Map Prot tools were all giving the same issue and I was at my wits end thinking it was hopeless.

For a while the max length for map name or description was reduced and that triggers the error, I thought it had been fixed since then thoughj.

Yes, but then you should get the issue with both protected and unprotected maps, with a message saying something like "Invalid scenario" once you try to select the map in order to host a game.
The Overmind guy seemed to say it worked if he was to unprotect his maps, which would mean it's something else.
Or did I not get it right ?
