i'll try to keep this short with all detailz included.

after the 1st scan from cheat engine v6.6, sc crashes. hell i might get 3 if i'm lucky b4 it goes out but that's not enuf time for me to find the addresses i need.

so far, i've tried olders vers like 6.5, 6.4, and any lower just times me out of the dl

ran both sc and CE as admin to no avail

tried artmoney and says value is impossible, given the unit IS on index 0 then leads to a crash shortly after.

has any1 experienced this as of late? or is it just me?

I believe they did this on purpose to deter hacking. I've had the same issue using debuggers on sc.

Have you tried the pause the game while scanning option? I would guess StarCraft set a few page guards that need to be disabled, among other tricks.

it wrked for 2mins ish, put in address 0x59CCA8(constant index 0 address?) manually in CE, and had a value of 4077668696 then i divided by 65,536? to get supposed hp count of 62,220 rnded.

it crashed shortly after 4-5 clicks while game was still paused tho, so i thnk i'm screwed for trying to change pre-placed unit hp

even if i get the right number, idk how to apply it to save permanently for my map specifically.

So you can't search for values anymore?

generally I can find the location in memory anyway, and you can always display any value in SC via the leaderboard with kills.

I can probably generate a list of placement ID (their order in SCMDraft) with the associated unitID for the kills leaderboard to display various aspects of the code. Does anyone know if the offset between the kills table and the Unit table changed? If so I can't do it without upgrading from 1.16.

FYI if you want to be completely safe with this kind of stuff moving forward, make sure you don't have battle.net app installed on your machine. It can watch what you're doing.

i do have the battle.net app installed howevr, i don't have it set to start when windows starts sooo would that cut it?

display leaderboard kills of unitID:894723 or whatever in SCMDraft. Each unitID pertains to a block of 48 bytes after the kill table. Note that players 9-12 aren't shown, so it's not perfect and you can't display all memory.

If blizzard blocked the use of unitID:228+ in all fields including in actions, then this is unusable. Note that kills of unitID:228 should be deaths of unitID:0 aka terran marine. The quick test to see if it works would be to kill a bunch of terran marines owned by different players 1-8 and display kills of unitID:228. If the leaderboard updates all the players according to their deaths, then it works, at least for the death table.
