How to fix?
Most likely cause is the aforementioned changes from blizzard - make sure you are using one of the latest alphas or redownload the newest release (should be hotfixed)
New build up. Chunk name is 'CRGB'. I'll try to post full format specs tommarow or Thursday.
Note: Mixing overflow colors and SC:R colors should sort of work, but the UI may not display them correctly after load. Using one or the other exclusively should work and display in the UI correctly.

Just make a copy of sc folder and you won't be affected by any patch.
Unfortunately that isn't really useful advice for the majority of scmdraft users
How come? It's more likely they break it again than add something new.
Look at the large number of people who didn't manage to point scmdraft at the SC install folder, before I added a bunch of fallback locations using common install paths. Now ask all of those to copy the contents of that folder elsewhere and configure scmdraft ;(
You will need starcraft.exe and mpq files to use the newest build.
These files have been removed from the Starcraft directory with the latest patch.
To those who need them, here they are:

New build up with minor QoL improvements as well as non-masked current player EUD condition / action. Are those useful for anybody? Is it worthwhile adding them to text trigedit? Any suggestions for a quick 3 line explanation for people who aren't familiar with them for the release notes?

Forgot to say thanks - that fixed my issue.
New official release is out. Will add the newspost tommarow.
Well, things are never boring of late...
Trial and error... mostly error.
First test build with extended string section support available now. Please read the notes and backup maps when using this build. Also important, let me know of stuff that doesn't work as expected !
downloadIMPORTANT NOTE: Saving any map in SC:R formats will convert all strings in the map from the ansi codepage selected in the scmdraft default (or system default if none is specified) to UTF8 data. This means if you load a map with Korean text, and do not have the profile configured to use Korean codepage, it will likely corrupt the data during save ! As long as the map text language and your configuration matches, saving should work fine and give you access to 65k strings.
I can't seem to get the extended team colors to work even with the latest builds
what am I doing wrong?
None.
Do you mean the overflow colors for 1.16, or the new SCR colors? The new SCR colors are ignored in single player (I think). Otherwise they should work.
Hum... I get SCMDraft sticking as a background process after quitting - again. This time just four instances instead of 35ish like the last time.
After I 86d them all I could update the EXE normally.
Trial and error... mostly error.

The latter, and that sucks if that's the case
None.
Add your vote/voice to the comments on the patch thread asking for them to also work in single player. I don't know why they won't at least load em, even if they did not overhaul the UI to allow for custom choice.
Pretty inexplicable if you ask me. Then again, the Koreans probably don't even know the game has a Single player mode anyway.
Trial and error... mostly error.
I expected that feature to be UMS only, without any UI changes SC side. Then they took it and expanded it quite a bit, but probably ran out of time before also updating single player. Its entirely possible that that is still using an entirely different backend (speculation on my end).
