Im not sure if this is the right place for this or not, but i need some help.

I am trying to flash my extra XBOX 360 drive. I know I know, im a dirty XBOX hakcer but I like to do this stuff. It tickles my head.

Anyway,

I have tryed a couple ways to flash it, and they all said that the flash worked 100% (I have the chippy thingy, i dont like crossing wires unless i have to.) But when I put a game in, it tells me to put this CD in a XBOX to make it work, but it will read DVD's work just fine. Anyone know anything about this?
I have a H47DJ by the way

Technology and Computers would have been the correct location for this.

You probably got owned by a dashboard update (On the 360 HD not the firmware in Dvd drive)

Should i not have the internet plugged into the computer when I'm flashing?
