Hey guys, I haven't seen any of you years. (yeah, I'm talking to you Self_Possessed) I've been mainly busy with being a medic in the army, (which I love) and getting into RPG Maker VX Ace. (which I also love)
Anyways, I was feeling nostalgic and came on here to replay my old Death Knight RPG Trilogy, aptly named Death Knights 1, 2 and 3. Luckily, I found my old Death Knights 2 and 3 here, but sadly not the ancient first one. If anyone has a copy of it, which I know will be hard cause it's over a decade old, please PM me.
And finally, I'm glad to be back, or at least somewhat back.

I saw you on earlier and I thought I recognized you. Hello!

Dude Death Knights 3 was legendary - it was what inspired me to get into mapping. Good to meet you.
So you are Alpha(MC)? I thought DK3 had a different author to 2 and 1 for some reason.
If you ever want to play RPGs come to channel donuts on US East. You'll find plenty of willing players, myself included.
Thanks Roy, I really appreciate it.

Yeah, I used to be Alpha(MC) back in the day when I ran Clan (MC).
I'm flattered you liked the game that much. I put a lot of heart and soul into making it and it feels good that someone's enjoyed it as much as I have. I hope the maps it inspired you to make are better than the entire trilogy combined.
One thing I always loved about staredit is that it doesn't give you any tools to really make RPGs with. People have always had to be creative and think outside the box in order to get things done. It's like the MacGyver of programming, it really is. I'm just curious on what crazy off the wall solutions people have come up with over these last 7 or 8 years. I mean, to this day I still remember having to come up with a "secret burning building timer" as a solution for some of my spells.

That is the epitome of mapping right there.
Mate, come into donuts on US East and I will happily show you some RPGs, including the one I'm working on right now.
Alright, sounds good. Just purchased starcraft again from blizzard's website. Once it's downloaded and installed, I'll be there. (blizzard is currently being really slow, so it's gonna most likely be an overnight download)

Here are some cool links:
Tenebrous by Vrael. This I would consider to be the spiritual successor to DK3; not sure if Vrael agrees though. Incomplete.
Astrogears by Tuxedo Templar. The cool 3v3 PVP spaceship fighting map I was talking to you about.
RUSH by Tuxedo Templar. An epic experience of a map - probably the closest thing to a third person shooter in Starcraft.
Legacy of Haean by qPirateKing. An up-to-4-player RPG that uses cool vision mechanics to explore caves.
Middle of the Ocean 3 by Leeroy_Jenkins. A cool singleplayer RPG series, and one of the first proper maps to use a new type of mapping technology called EPDs.
Fallen Memories by Yoshi. This map plays like old school 256 colour games where you move from screen to screen through a series of segmented terrain tiles. A cool RPG with fun mechanics, but I think was criticised for its story and balancing.
Spellsword by Remisa. An old RPG to most of us, yet you may not have even played it. This was considered the best RPG out there for a long time, and it still holds up to this day.
Morrowind RPG and
Oblivion RPG by Metal Gear. Brand new multiplayer RPGs which utilise extensive shuttle menu systems for a truly awesome RPG experience.

RPG Maker VX Ace. (which I also love)
I got into it when Humble Bundle ran their sale, but have no idea what I'm doing
Welcome back, too.
None.
>be faceless void >mfw I have no face
Death Knights 3 one of the RPGs that got me into BW RPGs, much love for making that <3
Welcome back!
Red classic.
"In short, their absurdities are so extreme that it is painful even to quote them."
Thanks, I appreciate all the great maps!
General, if you need any help or pointers on RPG Maker, just PM and I'll help you out no problem.
And Jack, thanks for the appreciation. It's good to know a game you made ten years ago helped other people get into other games of the same genre.
