And it's pissing me off to no end, what the hell is the deal here?
this website is broken.
I can download my file from other sources without issue but from here it pretends nothing is there.
this needs to be fixed

Wrong forum.
Website just had a major redesign; some issues are existing. We are working on it.
Fileupload limit should now be working properly. Your filesize is too big.

Please report errors in the Staredit.Network forum.
I'm just curious as to why you're so obsessed with trying to upload your content here. If it works fine on other sites, why not just leave it at that and then just link them here if you make a thread about it?

"Your filesize is too big."
It wasn't I made sure to cut the content so that it was roughly the same size of the original "Star Adairis Sector Wars"
So unless I was a magical wizard in 2012, it being "Too big" is not the issue.

This is where 99% of my stuff is, Though I finally managed to get my drop-box to work so I made a post yesterday to that link, still..
I don't have room to keep doing that.
And being an incredibly poor college student I can't spend money on "buying" more space.

Haven't we already been through this? As Devourer said, we obviously just went through major site changes. It looks like the file is roughly the same size as one of your older DLDB uploads, but if Devourer added a filesize cap then it is now indeed too big.

I have some online storage recommendations. Google Drive is a very good service and so is Mediafire. Mega is also another option that you may find appealing. beyond that, you can also try splitting your map file into parts via an archiving program such as 7zip and then uploading the parts to SEN.
SEN should state what individual file limits are on the upload pages of they are not already present.

Do I have to pay for those? because I am poor.

and no, we haven't, the other problem was that it was far too big, it is almost the exact same size as one of my older ones, I don't see how I can be expected to know that the site it magically got worse.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember you having a problem with not being able to upload a 2 gb file to the site, and after it was explained numerous times that 2 gbs was way too large to upload here, you still had a problem with it. Maybe that's what Devlin is referring to.

Then don't use the site, use an alternative that has been presented to you.

This is not the same thing, I already cut down the file by a considerable amount.
Also this file is the same as the old one that WORKS correctly, it's 30Megabytes MUUUUUUCH smaller than that failed thing I tried to upload.

I already wasted permenant space on my drop-box, so the problem is "fixed" in the most jerry-rigged temporary way possible.

Or you could have used one of the other options recommended to you.
Since a temporary fix was found, closing this.
