Cops & Robbers 4: Easy cheat system, for both sides. Not that I can tell you them, but yea, there are "Glitches".
Four in my opinion is rigged for robbers to a very high degree in which even 3copsv1robber(Assuming the 3 are pros) is difficult if you know the map inside out(regardless of edits). Also, I do not like 4th as the maker ripped off most of the trigger and the map is frequented "unbalanced" toward robber side. I only play this one if I'm extreme bored. If the public does not mind, I can fully balance this map. Magistrate did a try before and it was a good attempt.
Cops & Robbers SE (P_K Edition, ;o): Very easy, aside from the Garbage truck glitch. And the *Ahem* "cheap" spots.
SE in my opinion is VERY user unfriendly toward police and also
VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY TEAMWORK-BASED TO THE EXTREME(ironcially, they don't even I tell them it is) for police, and when it comes down to the best players on any realm. It will vary on microing skills of the players(basically, knowing when to emp, unload an unit at the right time, lockdown mutiple units quickly, dodging EMP, and shuttle load/unload control, and just basically knowing what to do with your units. Inaddition, police players basically need to have a very high experience toward Terran Race accompanied with atleast APM of above 120 or above) Another problem with SE is that its very early game dependent, if you mess up the first ten minutes of the game, its basically over, the good part is that police have a SMALL chance to make a comeback if they're REALLY good but its basically no chance if robbers screw up first ten minutes. Considering all of these, SE is the most balanced and the most "fun" version. However, the only "two" completed versions of this map is
SE[Fixed](for the inexperienced police players) or SE[Final](for the experienced police players) and all other versions are very likely rigged/unbalanced/have a cheating system. To tell if this map is rigged or not, if the HP of your first level as police is 23, its rigged and 15 if its not. The only diference between the two previous version is that Final is slightly harder(the "cops can kill me for $" is harder to kill and also takes longer to spawn) than Fixed. This is the version I usually play on. I would love to teach people to play Police on this if they are interested, though there are many things to teach, and the demand of microing skills for police cannot be taught by me and people will need to practise that themselves.
Out of 10, my microing skills for this map is only roughly 6.5/10 even though I already am very feared(I know i'm being arrogant but its to explain that even a very experienced player like me have problems with the microing skill demand of this map) in the community whenever I play this. The best three people who I saw on this are the following
Dan505-148/200(Give up)
Kagomay-136/200(Give up)
Rock5(or rock something, can't remember)-114/200(Ran out of time)
If you're looking for a rematch, forget about it, I hate the intense microing on the map.
Cops & Robbers 5: power_of_ghost edition. Very laggy and essentially "stupid". Seems lacking to me, I liked the use of wraiths and such though.
Well, thanks for the opinion on my map.. However, probably the lag was your own fault, and althrough your "stupid" agrument may be negative, it is very unsupportative. This version is intentionally made to be very user unfriendly on robbers and was designed to be the "ultimate" challenge for robber players who have already gotten really good with other versions to try something new. Whenever I play this, I usually just fool around till either my partner wins, or robber wins, sometimes I even go AFK. I do this since ALOT of people overestimiate the results of their own games(O, i'm a robber and the cops i'm facing are very likely noobs so I'm going to win 100% for sure) and get completely frustrated when they experience extreme difficult. To be honest, most people just need to play 2-5 games on single player(If you are able to win the game within 20-30 minutes, you're set for multiplayer) and 2-4 multiplayer and they should be fine against average people. Otherwise, the smart police players will required up to 100 games of practise to defeat. I would be glad if anyone would like hints on my map. This amongst the other version is the least "glitched" and I host it daily to ensure I can check for bugs to remove. However, the balance system is very different and will require robbers
to be willing to not challenge police with their "civ-killing" unit
to be able to micro 2-6 units together for "powerful"(Powerful referred being disabled, such as lockdown or feedback and as well as armour skipping damage: plague, storm) damage in crucial moments
have a "kill civilians at all costs, flight 1st, fight last" idea in mind
Cops & Robbers 3: Gaygaygaygaygaygay.
Third is basically a rip off of second. It simply just have lurkers and an easier way to level for police. It also features an anti-camp trigger which kills police
within 20 seconds of staying in base. There's some other edits, I think i may still have it. I played this version back a few years ago due to the easier way to level.
Cops & Robbers 2: File Unknown. Searching Database...
Second is rarely hosted, though a bit better than SE. It is not as balanced as SE. It is in a badlands terrain, and also swing to robber. I have it if anyone wants it. I sometimes play this when I'm looking for something harder than SE. What I particular don't like about this map is that robber are allowed more money.
Cops & Robbers 1: File Unknown. Stealing from Moose's Database...
First IS SE, basically SE was the original version. No doubt about it. Whenever people say 1, they're just referring to SE.
Basically if you want to play the most balanced version. Play cops and robbers SE or cops and robbers 5(my map). Five if you're looking to have an easier time on police and vice versa for SE for robbers.
