Ugh, they released it as a commercial license. Of course if a company can pay for software they're going to buy it rather than get it for free...
This is way too complicated for me. I get cloud and RAID, but this is way over my head. If my password isn't sent over the network, I don't understand how I can get my files back. It must send it out obfuscated in the file or something. After all, if I can get my files, that means a hacker pretending to be me can get my files.
It makes sense that your file is replicated a few hundred times, so the transfer rate will be pretty damn high (ever been on a torrent with 1000+ seeders?). I'm just thinking if many people take down their computers at the same time, you're vulnerable to data loss.
