alright, I might as well do this now.
Here's just a brief summary of the rest of the mini-games i'm about to work on and add. Note that these are not final and are subject to change. recruit & fight - Mind control units and fight with them Black hole - Avoid center - Avoid other units counting game - nuff said Find the leader - Everyone has a bunch of ghosts and one Leader hidden within them - Kill off each person's leader unit to win. civilian massacre - big arena - with your firebats kill all the civs - first to kill a certain amount wins overpopulation - Unit spawns many civilians - unit also kills other's civlians - at end of time, whoever has most wins boomerang - In two square rooms - One on inside, one on outside tail bomb - ultra, followed by a sci vessel - Just like my old slamball map Random Blast - One random unit will have a huge blast radius after few seconds. Avoid it. Last standing wins Move your flag - For a few seconds you can move your flag with your wraith - Dodge all units Ultra Torture - Patrolling unit spawns marines everywhere - Last as long as you can with utralisk mad bombers - have unit with lots of infested - blow unit up landing zone - Land a CC - Kill off units to clear a landing zone spider mine defense - place spidermines everywhere to prevent them from touching your flag dancing blast - Four air units from 4 sides all fly in a pattern shape - dodge them lure - Bring enemy units to your flag - Flag will constantly relocate itself. - Don't die lockdown - carrier, ghost, and scourge. Kill interceptors Tank push - Siege while touching an opponent to knock him out. Aimer circles arena - More often you're hit, further you will go probe rape - Just like evil gangsters form minibounds target - you have a certain target player to kill - if he dies you earn point bombing zone - A DT will be drawing scourges. Avoid the blasts and the crystals it spawns - Last standing wins bounce - scourge will bounce off the balls arbitrarily. Touch it for points power meter - After 3 rounds, see who gets most points via power meter (same as basket shooting area) homing dodge - Shots will be aimed at players - They will leave reavers behind and you must dodge them as well moving platforms - Stay on top of Reavers. Don't move off them or you die - Kill each other. Use mutas? energy conservation - Like the kakuna/metapod thing on pokemon. burrow and run - Burrow lings. Rines will be coming opposite way. First to end wins catch the archon - yamico's idea. Like soccer but unit will randomly kill everyone around it hungry hungry ultras - yamico Kill as many civs as you can to feed yourself. Eventually, your hp will deteriorate if you don't eat enough Memory Game - Units will be spawned in order. Create them in order or you are eliminated. Stay on the civs - Like falling tiles, only cheezier Bomberprobe - yamico's Bomb the units. First to bomb a certain number win. Trace the wraith - yamico's Follow the wraith's path. Whoever is most accurate wins Target drop - Use the archer's arena. Bring said units to each side. Kill that unit - yamico's. You must kill that unit. Find it and kill it. Wtf? - yea, wtf... falling scourge - yamico's. Siege tank right before scourge reaches end. - Closest to end (but not on end) wins Lurker dance - like in the mario party game Loop race - Race around a track. Avoid explosions - First to complete number of laps wins Clouded vision - Many big bcs will be wandering the map, blocking ur vision of the ground -Dodge all ground units Steamroller - Like my steamroller map. - Many units will be blocking your way. kill the cloaked units - Use your Lurker and civilian to kill dts - first to certain number wins ship wars - You have a dropship. Fire up, left, down or right - Your shots leave behind crystals and after your shot is over, they kill w/e is left. Brood spawn - Spawn as many broodlings as you can - Keep your broodlings away from the wandering civilian Dodge the crystals - Using mobile grids, crystals will be moving - Dodge them Spray dodge - wandering unit sprays units outwards. Dodge them Keep away - hold onto crystal as long as possible - Just like in mario party Marine squads - you have a squad of 12 marines - Kill each other for points omfg the archon - gamma's idea. Kill archon with your rine. - Respawn after everyone dies. Whoever kills it wins Worms - you have dropship. Unload units to caste missiles at people. Scout blitz - lobsters idea. Using scout, bring scourge to flag. tackle scourge to kill player. Hallucination - With tassadars and templars. Kill each other's real tassadars. Fight tournament - 1v1 Attack with units. Ultimately whoever is left wins. Caterpillar dodge - You have a series of units in a "long line" if any of them get hit you die Remote detonation - Lay civs down with dropship. Unload archon to detonate. - Whoever kills certain number wins Don't touch me. - A unit will be following a random person. If it touches you you die - Use teleport to aid you. #73 Recruit and fight
This game has two stages. First stage, you have a dark archon and in the middle there are lots of units owned by a computer (marines, ghosts, firebats, tanks, etc). Your goal is to mind control as many of these units as you can. Once all the comp's units are gone, then begins the second stage. This part, you don't really do much; all the units you've MCed will be thrown into a confined arena where everyone is to fight to the death. Whoever has at least one man standing left wins. #74 Black Hole So yea, you will constantly be sucked towards the middle of the arena. Click as fast as you can to avoid the middle. Also, there will be random units wandering around the arena too. You are to also dodge these units or you die. Last man standing wins #75 Counting Game So there will be a certain number of units in an arena. Your goal is to guess how many units there are in the map within a certain time. Build a vulture to decrease your count and a goliath to increase your count guess. It's possible for two or more people to win this mini-game, but then it is also possible for noone to win. #76 Find the Leader Everyone has several standard Ghosts and one "MillenniumArmy" ghost which is your leader. Your goal is to find and kill each other's leader. It doesn't matter if you kill off each other's standard ghosts so long as your leader is alive. If your leader dies, you are eliminated. Anyway, MA, ever though of a TAG game? The questions would be: Does It get faster (get hero), slower (burrowed unit under it) or stay at the normal speed? In a cluttered arena with or w/o obstacles?! Possible goals: - The last guy that do not get eliminated (when you are It, the Custom Score would grow up until you reach a certain amount, then, you get eliminated) - A CPU is It and when you get touched, you are slowed down, but you can still play, as an other It that can touch the others, last man standing wins If you want more type of Tag games (because there's plenty!), just ask! Minigame Ideas
#37: Scourge Dodge (With Zerglings) #38: Roaming Unit Dodge #39: Race w/ Spider Mines (Possibly on sides)(Or First 1 to end) #40: Splash Bound #41: Infesteds vs. Scvs. Whoever kills the most scvs with a limited amount (I think you will like this 1) #42: Frogger type race w/ small gaps to run your zergling through (The one I played with had lines of siege tanks/reavers etc. #43: An obstacle course with maybe a combination of the above. (Ex: Mineral Jump, Marine Jump, DT Jump, Larva dodge, avoiding mines, avoiding touching flames(DarkArchons), etc.) Small Areas for each would be cool. P.S. What determines which minigames will be made next? Do you do them in order of the most fun or most easy, etc. ? Cool, Thank You. Nope. I will however, ask people to help do a test runthrough of certain mini-games. Usually I would do this every 16 or so games.
I'm going to make it somewhat like the baby bowser bash in mario party on SC. You just simply attack the archon. And if everyone dies, you respawn. However, I will make it so that the archon changes its target every few seconds or so. So like he may start off chasing after one player, and then if he hasn't killed him yet, he'll target another random person. I will play around with this idea and see what's best for it. I like that idea, I think I will use it. Thanks Oh and no, I can't do particle arena unless your particles are slow moving scourges... or if only one person has the ability to shoot out interceptors while the others dodge... wait actually this may sound like an interesting idea. I'll just have to see though Hmmm, I actually like the concept of luring the spider mines with lings if that's what you mean. As for which minigames will be made, well I simply go down the list. Minigame Ideas #44: Simon Says (Cheesy, but nostalgic) #45: Build the Most Pylons (Small Area, Can kill whoever is winning or has the most points) #46: Magic Bound (W/ Ensnare, Spawn Broodlings, Plague, Psi, Maelstrom, Feedback, Statis, Blind, Lockdown, etc.) #47: Random Unit Micro (In small area where fighting can't be avoided) (Possibly Multiple Units, up to 3) #48: The Blob (An idea) #49: Micro Jail (Small Arena with 6 super small squares to build in, melee, instant everything) #50: Protect The President (An idea)(Computer is president, or random player, cooperation, multiple winners?) #77 Civilian Massacre
So, you have 3 firebats. And there will be lots of civilians. For one minute, you are to kill as many civilians as you can. The arena will be big, so there will be plenty of innocent noobs for you to burn to death. Oh and yes you can piss people off by stealing their kills. Whoever has the most kills in the end wins. #78 Overpopulation Your Queen will constantly spawn civilians underneath it. It only spawns them when you move around. Your queen can also kill your opponents civilians too. So your Queen is like a pencil and an eraser at the same time. Your objective is to simply have the most civilians on the field within 45 seconds. #79 Boomerang You have two units. One on the outside and one on the inside (you'll know what i mean by this when you play it). You will have a wraith that travels back and forth between these two units. Your objective is to get your wraith to hit your opponents inside unit. You need to move both of your units around to get a good angle/shot. Last man standing wins. #80 Tail Bomb Exactly like my old Slam Ball 1.0 map. You have an ultralisk and a Science Vessel. Your science vessel will constantly be following your Ultralisk. It will create an explosion only if it's not touching your ultralisk (remember your ultralisk is faster than your science vessel so try to get a good distance). Use this explosion and have it damage your opponents' ultralisks. You have HP and the longer you are hit, the more HP you will lose. Oh and to prevent camping, you cannot stand still for too long. Question: How are you going to do so many minigames with only 255 locations available? Many reusables? If so, that sounds very hard.
But, it sounds like an absolute EPIC map. Very awesome and dont get unmotivated on me! One idea could be basketball; you have a unit (U) and another unit (2) and a basket ball (B). the idea is to line up the two units so that there is a straight line from the first unit to the second unit to the basket. ______U_____ (Move me around) ________2____ (Move me around) ______B_______ Each time someone makes a shot, the next person tries. Steal the Beacon Wakka Wakka (Pac Man) My idea: The Psi Emitter - Every player has an SCV with a Psi Emitter and eleven other Marines. Any Zerg will be lured to the Psi Emitter and will attack it. #81 Random Blast One of 8 wandering units in the map will blow up at a random time. You don't know which unit will blow, and you don't know when it will. So your objective is to survive as long as possible; if you get caught in the blasts it's over for you. As time elapses, the blasts get faster and more frequent. Last man standing wins #82 Switcharoo Enemy units will be charging towards you. Your goal is simple; run and survive. However, there is a new method you can use to assist yourself. Every now and then, a crystal will appear somewhere on the map. If you touch the crystal, you will switch places with one random player other than yourself on the map. This is useful for losing a pursuing enemy or just simply screwing one of your opponents over. However, this has to be used with caution as it may generate unexpected or unwanted results (such as getting yourself screwed over). Last person alive wins. #83 Ultra torture Survive as long as you can with your ultralisk. Enemy marines will spawn and wander around the map and they will try and shoot you down. Good thing you have a monstrous amount of HP, so you can minimize the amount of damage taken by running away from these marines. Ultimately more and more marines spawn so you will die eventually. Last man standing wins. #84 Mad bomers So this is an idea straight from SC's mario party. You have a drone which spawns infested terrans. Blast your opponents up. Nothing more to say really. Oh and devilesk is still a noob LOL #85 Zergling Roundup You have a mutalisk. You are to corral 10 zerglings towards your flag. And to do that, you just have to attack the zerglings. You have up to 3 mutalisks so you can either use all three to assist in your round ups or just one or two of them to annoy the shit out of your opponents. #86 Mop Up Yet another idea somewhat from SC's mario party. You have a scourge which will kill any civilians it touches. Masses of civilians will appear on the map and wander everywhere. You are to prevent any |
