I will be hosting a SC1 Map Night tonight (Sunday, 11th of November).
Why? To get some nostalgia going on, and because I feel like playing with my beloved SEN-friends for my return home.

Maps we might end up playing (mostly maps that we usually played during Map Nights, plus a few of my own preferred maps):


... but of course, as usual, the maps we play are decided by the players themselves. There was also always a little "test in-production maps" section for the map-makers.

STARTING TIME: Around 4PM (EST) tonight? (Montreal's time, which I think is GMT -4)
Discussions in this thread might declare a different time.

We might also end up hosting one of our beloved 1-hour mapping contest!!

Please let us know if you will be there. It might motivate other people to know that certain members will be present.
Also, sorry about posting this so lately. I will most probably host a Map Night next week as well. :3

I'm pretty sure that it's intended to go all night. It's not necessary to show up when it starts.

I'll probably be several hours late in arriving, due to the early nature of the start time.

And indeed, the Map Nights usually actually get started around something like 8PM and people are still playing at 1AM.

I'll try to make it, though its been so long since I've played SC1 that I don't think I've played anything on that list.

Will we be congregating in some Ventrilo server or another? I don't think anyone's using the CC vent so we can probably just rampage into there.

I have both TeamSpeak and Skype. Anyone has a server on TS or something?
Is Ventrilo free? Which one should we use?

Ventrilo is free and higher quality than TeampSpeak. It's also a LOT less clunky.

I of course disagree with you. My terrain is more appealing, and is more balanced.
The Free Bank is also a great feature that allows for a greater variety of tactics in early game, and it becomes irrelevant in longer games.
And I've added a few features that many players I played the v1 with were requesting.

I, however, would definitely love to hear your critics.
