I went and saw Finding Nemo in 3D last night, and there were a few new trailers for (western) animated films to be released in the next couple years. I must say I am really surprised with how many animated films are coming out in the next year and a half. We didn't see all these trailers, but they're all worth mentioning.
Epic
This looks really cool to me, but I think it is a risk and without a really solid storyline would flop. Judging by the trailer (hopefully other trailers will come) I'd say that it might go with a Fern Gully-like plot. But, I'm still excited to see where it goes...especially since it isn't a sequel!
Rise of the Guardians
This looks a little less promising, but I am very bias. I don't like Dreamworks too much. However, this looks more like the original Shrek in humor instead of the two that followed (which I found the plots and humor a little forced) so it might surprise me. Also, Jack is kinda hot, so you know
Wreck it Ralph
There's another thread on this, so you should probably check that thread out for more discussion. But this trailer looks much more promising to me than the first trailer I saw, so I'm more excited for it. (Also, I hear there's some sort of fight between Sonic and Bowser, but that might be a rumor).
Hotel Transylvania
This looks freaking awesome. The tourist looks like one of my best friends, which makes this movie look even more enjoyable. I'm very excited for this movie to come out.
Planes
First time I've seen this trailer, actually. there could be absolutely no plot, speaking, or conflict and I'd probably get roped into seeing it with my boyfriend. I'm assuming the plot will be a lot like Cars 2 which wasn't horrible.
Monsters Inc 2
Will probably see this for the sake of nostalgia.
I think that's all..if you have more to add please state them below.

lol, I've seen those before. Up and Wall-e are tied for my favorite movies of all time. I've seen Finding Nemo before, but it was just released in 3D in theaters. This thread is for new releases. Guess I should clarify...
I thought brave was okay, it had a lot of good elements...it was just lacking. I didn't like the guys she had to choose between; they weren't developed enough. I feel like it brought the entire movie down.
On that note, I'm bummed that Disney doesn't appear to be doing traditional animation movies anymore. :\ I thought they were going to do more traditional animation but I guess Princess and the Frog didn't sell well enough.
We went and saw Hotel Transylvania, it's a really good family movie. I highly suggest it. The humor is a lot like the humor on Cartoon Cartoons (most likely because it is directed by Genndy Tartakovsky), and for a not-Pixar movie (I'm kinda a snob) it is pretty intelligently written. Adam Sandler plays the lead but he doesn't act or sound like Adam Sandler. I guess I should relate his style closer to early Adam Sandler....like The Wedding Singer.
Also, going to it will bring Genndy Tartakovsky closer to making a Samurai Jack movie. I have not seen Samurai Jack, but I kinda wish I had. We've had trouble finding it - and Dexter's Lab, actually - on DVD.
Agreed! I can't bring myself to dislike Adventure Time, I wish I had found it earlier. Cartoon Network is so hit and miss with their cartoons - Total Drama Island was really good and then after the first season it just became meh, but 6Teen is still funny to me. Otherwise I don't know - I'm not a fan of the other newer shows on Cartoon Network...especially the ones without....cartoons.
We saw Wreck It Ralph on Friday...it was a really good movie. There were real video game references, of course, but they didn't lean too hard on them and they definitely didn't carry the plot which means it is enjoyable for people who don't know anything about current video games, too. It really carried the Arcade motif well, I think, and the games they made for the movie (Sugar Rush and Wreck It Ralph) had the character and feel of an arcade game. The conflict was sincere and it was kinda cute. I really do suggest it, definitely an all ages film.
We saw some new trailers...
This looks interesting. It's live action but has CG so I thought it was worth mentioning. I'm not usually a fan of Disney's live action but this looks more promising than other ones.
And then there's this one, which looks like a cash grab from Dreamworks, and it looks like their desperate attempt to compete with the story of Brave.
Ultraviolet shouted: How about you all send me your minerals instead of washing them into the gambling void? I'm saving up for a new name color and/or glow
