If you don't give a damn about Community or don't know what it is, don't post in a topic about Community. (Like I wasn't doing until I had to handle a report. >_>)

If you do give a damn about Community but legitimately don't have a favorite character or hate them all (and aren't just trolling because of my previous statement), then say so and elaborate on it.

First off, reports shouldn't be based off of if you agree with the post or not; if it breaks a rule, it should be reported. Second, sorry I didn't elaborate; the show isn't really diverse enough to have a favorite character, hence "None". It's like saying someone from Jersey Shore or Glee is your favorite character: with few exceptions, they're essentially the same character.

Yes, I gathered that from your mentioning of season 4, what I was really after was some sort of explanation. Was it revived? Did it move networks? Am I just flat out wrong?

Your original post should have asked these questions then silly.

My understanding was that it was signed on for two seasons originally, and they were able to score two more seasons. But the creator of the show has been taken off of it by NBC for season four, so while it will share the same name I don't know how similar it will be to previous seasons. I doubt they can push the show past five seasons tops (since Jeff eludes to "most students in community college spend five to seven years!" in one of the episodes).

I need to get back into it. I saw only the first 2 seasons, and I started it because Joel McHale kept plugging it on The Soup

I'd say so. They fired the creator and head writer to bring in some suits from the network to save the day. That's the sign of a last gasp.

Community has always been compared to Arrested Development in terms of ratings and followers, and it was only a matter of time until it shared the same fate.

But...but...six seasons and a movie!

I feel that community is not as funny as other shows, namely The Office and The Big Bang Theory (though I won't say much about them in this thread). I've seen a few episodes, but it's just not good enough to make me want to watch entire seasons.

The Big Bang Theory sucks compared to Community, and I feel like The Office has really lost its touch in the past few seasons. I saw a few episodes of Community a little while ago and I must admit that pretty damn funny.

I haven't seen Community since they fired the show's creator. I'm afraid to.

As a side note, I don't understand the appeal of Big Bang Theory. I've tried watching it a few times and haven't found any of it to be funny.
