Been a while since I posted here on SEN, but I just read a book called
The Gamer's Sex Guide on a friend's recommendation. The title itself is a joke, and the chapters inside varied between inane humor and thought provoking. Now the reason I decided to post on here was because a friend of a friend wrote the book, and he (my friend, not my friend's friend) asked me if I'd say anything about it, and I told him I might if I enjoyed the book, which I did. The first few chapters poke a lot of fun at gamers and their solitary ways, but the last half actually poses some serious questions about sexuality in gaming, double standards, and the like. It only took me like two hours to read, but it only set me back $3, which is about the price of a single comic issue (which takes like fifteen minutes to flip through), so it seems like a decent deal.
Even if nobody had told me about it, I might have picked it up on the cover alone, which is absolutely golden:
Unfortunately, it looks like it's only available on the Kindle and not in print form. Then again, you might not want to be caught with a copy of this book anyway.
None.
