http://starcraft2.com/features/terran/nomad.xmlIt looks like Terrans will get a better means of defense without taking up as much supply as bunkers.
Overall looks like a pretty kicking unit to me.

None.
Relatively ancient and inactive
Eh.. I don't really like it. Creating towers within moments sounds far-fetched to me. I'd have preferred it if it could create, deploy, grab, and repair them instead, so it kind of carries them around inside, deploys when necessary, taking it back and repairing it over time when the battle is done.

Its a flying scv/science vessel with multi-use spider mines. WAHOO!

I don't think it will pack as much as caliber as a bunker would do- plus it looks weak.
EDIT:: And if its a replacement for sci vessels, then it is way up in the hierarchy of tech tree. you wont use this in the beginning. ( Plus terrans have always been the best defense maker. )

Bunkers don't take supply

Bunkers don't shoot things.

I like this unit. Especially this quote
No more building senseless bunkers for where small patches of minerals are in melee games.
None.
Look, its a flying horseshoe that builds crappy turrets which last for not to long... AH!!!
None.
I'd rather have Sci vessels where it had awesome spells like D matrix, irradiate, and emp- a lethal killer spellcaster in the battlefield.
If you've ever played competitive melee, bunkers are obviously early hierarchy in the melee. You only need them to defend a few rushes, and while it goes to middle- terrans usually just switch to offense because it can, or it dies. It masses up units and goes on attack at a massive scale. If anything that Nomad will be used in drops to support marines and tanks- instead of defense. It's too weak to be a defense.
None.
There has to be more to this unit than simply making little turrets for a small base defense... Cmon now people...

Hopefully it'll be lower level than a vessel, I'm guessing armory level (lower than cruisers and vessels, but a little higher than tanks).
Anyone who plays Terran knows what a pain detection is. Vessels are:
a. Second to top of the tech tree
b. Expensive
c. Vulnerable
This Nomad will probably turn out to be none of those (expensive maybe, but more worth it). It will remedy an annoying Terran weakness. Zerg basically have free detection and Protoss have lower tech, less vulnerable and cheaper detection.
None.
It's pretty much the replacement of the science vessel as stated at the bottom of the page:
Over time the military support applications of the nomad have seen it deployed in escalating levels of conflict, gradually replacing the older and vastly costlier science vessel.
I have mixed feeling about it. I'm sure it'll be able to do much more than just stationary turrets and depending on what they are, we'll see.

Looking pretty sexy to me... INSTA-TURRET!!!
None.
Personally, I think it's kinda dumb and far fetched, but I still think that as a unit and not a concept it will enhance the game by a fair bit, cause of it's ability to stop DT rushes, make turrets and repair things.

Thats stupid. I told you, it's a friggin high tier unit. It won't stop DT rushes.

umm it reveals them and ads some extra support, its not used as an attack unit, its for added defense.they never said it could protect a whole mineral patch (or did they?)
Plus DT's are kinda high in the Protoss hiararchy so if you only need a star port for this then it would provide a decent defence provided they have tanks/goliaths /bunkers/rines available to its aid
None.
There is scanners for a reason. Scanners + Units.
None.
I don't think anyone's saying DT rushes are unstoppable, or even a good strategy against someone who knows what they're doing.
