I've been keeping an eye on this but aside from it's smooth mech walking it looks like this will be a fun arcade game. Doesn't seem like it will have much replay value though as their will be less loud outs than your standard call of duty. Has potential to be great but I have a feeling the devs won't reach it.

one thing that bugs me is that the maps are single floored and feel to flat. Maybe just me. Will be the kind of thing I'll wait a couple of weeks before getting the full version instead of picking it up on release. Though the cockpit smoothness is awesome as fuck.

They didn't make a single player because let's face it, most gamers play for the multiplayer these days and the devs most likely want to enjoy their own game as much as everyone else. The loadouts are apparently going to be quite extensive as well, more in detail later in the post.

They are not single floored? The desert map even has tunnels with multiple entrances. It also has hills, canyons and mesas. The city has a few highways and some trench-like design, most likely some kind of water system.

It's free to play. The game will have plenty of time to improve seeing as they stated anything purchased will be merely cosmetic or speed up the rate of unlocking content in the game, content has not been entirely defined, but they said that they have been working on balance first and foremost. You stated earlier that they may never reach the full potential, free to play games are never, "Oh we released it, that's it! Have fun!" They are constantly improved upon. Then you have the fact that they are sticking to the indie company label. And indie devs have always had that knack for making extraordinary improvements in short amounts of time.

In the end, shut the hell up and enjoy the game when its out. Bitch.

I remember Le, he was in quite a few of the Offset interviews. Did not know he was the man behind Hawken... Also the fact that the guys who funded Riot's F2P model are backing it? Sounds like they won't die off in the beginning because of that and will allow them to grow without worrying. Mmmmmmmm.
