Cruisin' on that LSD

When I used that system to have to click 'a' to attack between alliance, i want it so you have to click 'a' on the enemy but you can't kill allies. What do I do?

This isn't entirely clear.

Are you trying to prevent a player from attacking their allies under all conditions? This is pretty much impossible - any player-controlled unit can be forced to attack any other unit by using a specific Attack order whether they're an ally or the players own units/buildings. The only way to stop this is to make the target unit invulnerable, but then nothing else can attack it either.

Set alliance status with computers once, and use Preserve Trigger to set alliance status with the other players. Setting alliance status will usually clear the attack order for units, but if they mash 'a'-click enough they might still be able to get a shot in ...

But don't preserve it... (maybe that will work?)

Edit : I see what he meant now... You can simply make player damage and enemy hp low while player hp is high... making bsing just annoying but that the best thing i know that will prevent it.

No Tempz, that won't work.

Preserving ally trigger as Farty suggests will prevent players from attacking anyone (easily), including their genuine enemies. But even that won't completely stop them from being able to attack their allies.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

That's the only solution that comes to my mind, too.

Setting an alliance will prevent every action taken against ANY non-foe player.
If I remember it correctly, it won't even care about which player's alliance status has been set, so you can't disable shooting only for yourself, if no enemy is near you.

If someone does that just detect the kill of the player that did it.
create the unit back that was killed and kill the unit of the player that shot at the player using A-click.
problem solved? No one will BS anymore because of that.

It's been a while since I was a lot into mapping, but if I remember correctly, when you spam the alliance status (To be set as ally.) even if the player somehow manages to attack the ally player, it will cause almost no damage to the unit

(Of course, this has been said before. I guess both topic can be marked as solved?)
