The Cult had the same common enemy. The Zombie role is not more affiliated with the town in any way the Cult wasn't: it's an independent third party that wants to win.

I think the difference is that the zombie can outright kill the USS, while the cult couldn't even convert or anything.

If I were to guess at meaning, that is what I'd say.

The Boondock was recruited immediately into the Cult in Inferno's game, so really, even that point is arguably negligible.

You better. I'm serious here, I made that signature image, and while it's not much, I never gave you permission to use it. I demand that you cease and desist. The avatar is another thing, as it's not mine, and I technically have no say on its use. Not to mention I don't care much about the avatar anyway.

I have to agree with Angel for two reasons:

1. The game would be a lot less fun if multiple people used the same avatar for playing, at least from a clue-analysis viewpoint.
2. Copying someone or taking things from them without permission is rude and childish. It is obvious that Angel is very partial to his ~~avatar~~ signature, and using it as your own is basically an insult.

Also, I look at avatars as a quick identification for people I know, and I thought Angel was arguing with himself for a moment there.

I've only received PMs from roughly 20% of players for this, so I wanted to specifically point out this section of the rules.

At any time prior to role distribution, you have the option of sending me a PM informing me which role you would prefer, choosing up to two roles (one from Survivors and one from USS). After your team is randomly determined, roles will be randomly distributed within each team. Those who have sent in a role preference will have the probability weighted slightly in their favor for that role.

To be clear, this does not influence the chances of being chosen as Survivor or USS, only of receiving the preferred role after your faction has been determined. Also, the weighting is relatively slight, so do not assume you will receive your preferred role. This is merely a way of marginally increasing the probability that players will receive roles they will enjoy.

You cannot choose the Zombie or Infiltrator role. These roles have equal odds for everyone.

Activity checks have been sent out, you can reply to me directly or just post in the thread.

The game will begin on Thursday at 9 PM (EST). Players can continue to sign-up between now and then.
