How come they don't always display for me. The ones that are next to people's usernames in the channels, I always have to alt+tab and go back into SC to see them but then if I click on the person's name, the icon goes back to blank again. I've been trying to find out why this is happening and for some odd reason, whenever there's something using Flash like youtube, the icons and lag display properly

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Use "ddemulate" behind the StarCraft.exe in your shortcut. It will enable direct draw emulation mode that might fix it.
It fixes bnet UI for win7 at least.

SDE, BWAPI owner, hacker.

Chaoslauncher doesn't support command line arguments.

I actually contacted MasterofChaos and he did try to make an enable DirectFraw Emulation option which didn't work :/
I'm just gonna hope the next attempt will work though

In SC:R - yes you can. In normal SC: no, cause many tilesets use colors unavailable in others

NudeRaider -- The map structure only ever recognizes one tileset at a time. So you'd have to define your own map format then make an .exe that can load such files. I don't think it's ever been done; it sounds like a lot of work. What's commonly done with modding is creating a new tileset. Then you decide which tiles go in there. You can also make new ones. You will probably also have to create a new palette as the different tilesets share only part of their colors. Finally entering speculation territory you could maybe use EUDs to dynamically change the graphics of certain tiles. Not sure if it's possible, but if it is, you better make a topic for it.
